Okey, I'm psssht...

Post by Numia Kereru »

I have drunk too much and I shouldn't be posting.
But whaddya know, here I am :P

I just thought it would be mighty gracious of you all if you were to not hold anything I say from this moment unitl, say, Friday evening, against me. I'm heading out of town tomorrow afternoon for a work conference and won't have access to CC until Friday night.

I've deciede that, in my drunkien dtupor I should at least give some wraning about my posts in the last couple of hours where I have been consuming alcohol at an unhelathy pace. Please do not pay them any mind, I am just talking from the bottle lol

Anyway, I forgot what the topic of this thread was going to be and your lucky because it was a bloody good one!

edit: wait, I remember now!

I meant to say... I qutie like potato... or potet with a little apostropfhe thingy aboev the 'e'. (where's that beer emoticon when you need it???_)

Well, I can now honestly say that posting here last night was much more painful than the after-effects this morning :D

I thought I did quite well; the majority of my posts up to a certain point were legible enough after much time spent editing. When I got to that certain point though... I couldn't be bothered going back to fix them up lol. Being a touch typist certainly helps when you're sober. But when you're inebriated you need to edit by looking at the keyboard and the keys start looking jumbled up... you sort of just give in  It doesn't help that you end up pressing the backspace key more than any other key :x

Anyway, I never realised there were so many fans of the humble potato here! to the potato, King of Carbs lol

I was once told, by a rather reputable nutritional chemist (who I guess knows such things), that you can survive quite well on one cow and the amount of potatoes you can grow on an acre. This was the cause of the Irish population explosion of the 17th-19th centuries, the Potato Famine, the mass exodus of Irish, the stereotype of the Irish policeman, and like, everything.

Not to help perpetuate any stereotyping of the Irish, but did your chemist say how much Guinness can you get from a cow and an acre of tatties?
