Please explain in your first post how players progress thorugh the tournament and how many games will be played at once (e.g. will the tournament be open to freemium players).

what is the purpose of the first round if there is no elimination? Also how is it decided who gets a bye into the next round (for 24 players)?

The purpose of having the first round no elimination is to understand your opponent for when the real round begins.
Sorry that was an error that I did making it in the beginning for the amount of people in the tournament, Fixed.
