It might look worse to you, because you just missed a turn. Most players will attack someone who has missed a turn, in order to reduce the amount of deferred troops that person gets. This becomes especially common when the person missing a turn is holding a large chunk of the board.

There has been a total of one attack since the request for an alliance was made on 5 Dec. One time red attacked you and nobody else has attacked you. I mean your quote is accurate in the fact that you have been the only one attacked , but one attack does not make a secret diplomacy.
