I'd love to see a noman's land map that is basicaly a massive undivided noman's land with a few surrounding continents. The point being that people would eventualy settle in to the surronding continents and have to fight for the middle. I don't mean like chinese checkers because that's too open

Could someone make some real maps again? PLEASE!

I think a lot of us are really getting tired of the really abstract maps (granted I'm not helping much with the one I'm working on) all over the place. We could really use a South America or a Russia map, without all the crazy weird rules like heliports or capital cities. Just something Classic risk quality with a new board.

maybe we should seperate out coceptual, but not specific ideas, and particular maps and image ideas into different thread

dude, s. america is too small to make a map of and russia is too hard to make a map of.. you try to make on of then once. see how hard it is

I've been brainstorming one for quite some time. Haven't started making it, but it's a typical map on a different scale. :wink:

Its a book series and i am not sure if it needs a copyright.

how about a house that would be neat you could have the bottom floor one separated into rooms with different areas. like a bedroom for example.

the bed could be a country the dresser the tv the stereo the closet and everything i would definitely like to see this map made!

S. America would be cool if it was a map of European conquerers (Spain/Portugal) and the various indigenous tribes populating the continent at some point during the 18th century

I have drawn a cool map of some houses that ssome have connecting rooms and such. It could be called CC drive.

I'm sure this has probably been mentioned at some point, but it would be cool to have some type of monopoly map...

I guess you'd have to have some type of middle ground, possibly free parking, chance, community chest, and jail moved to the middle or something that connects lots of countries.

Not sure how exactly this would look, but thought it seemed like an interesting idea after seeing the chinese checkers board.

I was thinking about this a lot recently.

I think the main problem would be that it's quite thin and quite long. I'm not really sure how you'd go about fitting it into the allotted space without simplifying it far far too much.

Obviously there's copyright issues as well.

I do think the shape would be amazing to play as a map and places such as The Twins would take on the strategic importance that they have in the books.

I do think the main problem is the size of the thing, for it to have appeal to me as a fan it would have to have a level of detail that I think would be impossible to achieve in the space.
