Hehe. As for THOTA making TOFU challenge TSM first, well, all I can say is "Its good to be King!" TSM and TOFU should boot that up right away (maybe during the KoRT-THOTA match?)

TSM vs. TOFU match-up should be a lot of fun to watch. TSM and TOFU both beat my clan 25-15. Our clan has changed a bit since the TSM match, but it has pretty much the same core players.

who are the clans you beat in clan challenges?

Me! :D

It is entirely up to THOTA who they face, regardless of what the public thinks. I personally am not a fan of the "Who have you faced?" argument, but its not my place to argue a mathcup between you two. All i'll say is that ive never received such a terrible beatdown as when AOD played TOFU, as even good rolls and drops often still ended up as losses. Would have been great to see the CCup end up with your matchup even just for entertainment purposes, if not an outright challenge, but perhaps fate is just preventing this from happening. ;)

Not even vs empire in the clan league?

Not to make excuses, but AOD is not the same clan in the League that we were when we faced TOFU. We almost got swept by Mythology as well, and all the credit to them, but a clan that at one point holds a Top-10 position should be putting up more competitive numbers than that. We are beginning to mesh a little better with our newer players, even if the results this year dont show it yet. :?

But when TOFU beat us, we still had our top players still our ranks and still got thrashed. Players like [player]Sam02[/player], [player]laughingcavalier[/player], and [player]VampireM[/player] (shout-out to the boys! ) are still among some of the better players on the site, yet we can handled rather non-chalantly by those vegans across the table... ;)

But AOD will still understand if you want to include us in your rankings as Top-5, im sure JP could make another ladder helping us out there...

agreed with you chemefreak, I think TSM vs TOFU would be an incredible match up, one for the ages, this is ideally what I'd like to see, as many would argue they are 2 of the 3 best clans on the site. Then Thota could perhaps look into a match up afterwards. It was just a suggestion.

finally, for all of you that have been dissing Tsm just because they have not played a challenge since ours ended with them around march of this year, this does mean they are any less of a clan, they still have a boat load of solid skilled team players.

A lot has been talked about TOFU facing off vs. TSM, but I doubt TSM is really anxious to play us. They clearly are content with being semi-retired for the time being and as far as I have seen they haven't been looking for a challenge. Also, what incentive is there for them to want to face us? They have already proved they are an elite clan, tough to argue they are not the #2 clan on the site since they lost by 1 game to the #1 clan.

THOTA vs TOFU is inevitable, why delay it?

not delaying it peter, like khaz said, it will probably happen sometime in 2011, I was just suggesting while we playing kort, it would be nice for you all to challenge a top clan, if not tsm, then perhaps Low or IA, or even Empire?

I guess no one has noticed what the league playoffs may mean based on the current standings....... ;)

Isn't KoRT D1 right now, wouldn't it be TOFU v TSM?

 last time i checked all the standings other than empire's division, TSM was ahead KORT by a few games. I just assumed things had stayed the same.

too small of a sample of games vs one clan.

again, the clan league should be a separate ladder.

All this talk of TOFU vs THOTA... What happens if KORT knocks of THOTA? I do not think THOTA is overlooking KORT. As far as TSM, I will be the first to say they are still top tier, but they have lost a few members due to retirement, etc. They are not the same TSM that played THOTA at this point. Lets see how it plays out.

Hey Brucey, I'm not sure it's a great idea to bring up KoRT in a thread about perception of clans. Last time people gave their perception of KoRT the thread got locked pretty quickly.

I think a 4 way cage match between tofu, thota, kort, and tsm would be awesome.
You could do 4 man multiplayer games, 8 man doubles games, and then do a round robbin with trips and quads.

Put together an appropriate scoring system and we can settle this shit once and for all!

This would be excellent. If KORT lose to THOTA though I wouldn't include them in the equation as that would be two straight losses and I'd therefore favour IA to be in the mix instead.

I'd been wondering what the format was for the playoff stage (hadn't seen this) and was thinking "What's the betting we get Div.D". Sure enough.....!!

That's TOFU, LoW, TSM & KORT all thrown together. At current standings TOFU play TSM, LoW play KORT.

For Divisions B & C, based on current standings, IA play Mythology and Empire play AoC.

Tsm also has added some quality members brucy.

I think we need to look at the big picture here, if kort knocks off thota, which is possible, does that make kort # 1 on cc for 2010? Probably NOT, since our challenge will not end until March 2011 and a majoirty of the matches will be played in the year 2011, so that is for the year 2011 discussion.

Brucy, whatever JP decides for his mathmatics and equations for his ladder where he puts kort is up to him, but, this thread along with chuuuuck's power rankings are based by human beings not just numbers alone. JP uses a formula with stats and equations that has been flawed and changed over and over again, it cannot be relied upon as accurate.

This thread here is by peoples choice, mostly dedicated and loyal CLAN members that look at the big picture, stats certainly help, but, there is also outside of the box thinking, history, factoring in X factors, etc. I think we let the cc public clan arena decide who they feel are the top clans as they have been. I value the clan members of all clans personal say and experience more than a yo-yo ladder that has changed many times and has had flaws, sometimes math can be idiotic, going with your intution and or gut based on months and years of overall experience is worthy consideration for perception of top clans. I am sure chuuuuck have have his poll numbers soon.

31-29 if they 1 game penalty is counted which means there is tremendous parity within both clans facing each other, instead of all the bickering, fighting and feuding, a suggestion would be, why not play another 60 or 80 games and settle it once and for all maybe? Or maybe not? Just a thought.

I guess none of us (I mean TOFU or KORT clan) would like to play each other again in the next year (or maybe ever, looking at the previous events).

(1) Dako's right, neither clan wants to play each other (especially not immediately)

(2) A win forfeit should not be an automatic win for the other team who did not deserve it. So I'd list it as 31-28 and Europa is still in doubt if you have not checked lately, Pedro will likely hold a +3 bonus.

(3) If we are part of challenge and tournaments where we will ultimately face off against KORT or TSM in the initial or final round, why plan for another meeting when that may suffice?
