um, question. I'm playing third crusade in assassin mode.
if i hold the places that would win me the game, do i win?
or do i have to kill my target?

You would win.

The way I understand it and was told is that victory conditions trump assassin defeats.
So if in Feudal you gain all castles, that will win even if it is an assassin game, etc.
