When I click on my teammate's Snapshot in chat, it works fine. However, it always reverts backs to a map without Color Codes. When I then click, "Color Codes," I simply reverts back to a live map with Color Codes.

I would like to have a way to see my teammate's Snapshot with Color Codes. Thanks.

Is this going to get fixed?

Snapshot in chat works fine, but it is totally useless.

If I try to see the snapshot with Color Codes, it reverts to live.

I cannot use any snapshots until this is fixed. :(

Yeah, snaps should automatically use the settings you provided for colour codes, but that wasn't working properly. Fixed.

Really? It still doesn't work for me

Abuse of Chat Snaps Possible

Post by bamage »

Maybe I have a criminal mind, but it seems like Chat-Snaps should only be interpreted by Bob if they were posted privately (a simple conditional in the chat parsing loop). In a completed game, I played around with manipulating the chat-snap strings and posting them publicly. A less <ahem> moral player might use something like this to deliberately mislead opponents.

See it here: Game 7801496

Not sure how you'd prevent teammates from using the same hack to mislead teammates in private chat. That's a whole different story, but less likely with fewer benefits to the cheaters.

Game 7847255: The Elimination Log shows the correct rounds until I load the entire log. Then everyone seems to be eliminated in Round 3 (the round of the first elimination).

Are you going to be able to fix this? (And I noticed ender posted the same thing.)

I'm just not sure how you know when this action should occur.

Don't know if it has to do with your post, but I just noticed that now the elimination summary is no longer showing up when loading the full log of archived games. I've noticed it in a couple of tournament games where I'm trying to do point updates.

Hmm, I just tried to check this, and I noticed the round numbers weren't updated correctly. But the elimination summary showed up for me. Do you have game numbers so I can check those?

Alright, here's what I'm meaning. Take an archived game like Game 7306752. When you first open the game (without clicking load full log), you get this:
show

After clicking load game log, you get this:
show

I need the round numbers for when the players were eliminated, not just the order of elimination or the points won/lost. I hope that helps.

Can BOB have one more "Confirmation" trigger: ask me "Are you sure" once I'm attacking my teammate land?

Keep attacking my teammates from time to time by confusing reinforcement step with attack step #-o

Did you refresh the page using the [refresh map] button on the game page, or did you use your browser's reload function? The latter is what is needed.

Latter means the last of the two options. He's saying to press F5 (or another button in your browser to refresh the map).

Well, it means there are too many territories on the map and they cannot fit into 1 chatline. Gotta live with it =(.

We've gotten all the way back to the beginning?

This has happened to me as well and I'm sad to say that it is forever FUBAR'd in the Windows user account that you're using it in. The only work around that I've found for this problem was to create another Windows user and install a fresh GreaseMonkey, BOB, and Clickable Maps into Firefox on the new user.

Yikes! I hope someone else has a better plan.

Hmm, maybe I can come up with a better alternative. But it will be a bit complicated.

Any word on this? At this point, BOB isn't even showing up on my computer, but I have two clickable maps menus. Very frustrating.

BOB and clickable maps drastically improve the conquer club experience, and I'd like to continue using them but the duplicate menus make them unusable. Can someone please spend some cycles to try and isolate this issue? Thank you all so much for your efforts!

What version of BOB, of Greasemonkey, and of Firefox (or whatever browser you use) do you have? Did BOB used to work and then stop, or is the first time you have tried to use it?

The version probably shows up on the right side. Is the version 5.1.2?

I've had the duplicate menus thing for a while and I've noticed that it works fine as long as I'm using the topmost one. I'll occasionally get multiple pop ups, but I haven't noticed it messing anything up.

I've also noticed that if I manually refresh a page that only one menu loads after refresh. This could be a work around until the duplicate thing gets figured out.

Same thing happens to me. Usually its the map inspect and my Assault Odds (not BOB), each appearing 3 times. I have also had the multiple pop ups a few times. As you said, refreshing the page always works.
