I have decided to return to CC as I have missed it over the last couple of months as well as running tournaments, but I won't be playing in as many games as before.. nor would I be running as many tournaments as I don't want to put myself back in the situation of being overwhelmed with my schedule.
Anyway in celebration of my return, I am going to run my first tournament since I came back. This will be a series of multiplayer games on some of my personal favorite maps that I had picked from the times I had played here. There will be 4 stages and the game will start with 32 players broken down into 4 groups of 8. Everytime a player wins in their group, that players gets to move to STAGE 2 while the remaining groups play another game on the next map. This continues until 4 players passes through to STAGE 2 (the remaining 4 players of each group are eliminated from the tournament). STAGE 2 will have 2 groups of 8, and will work similar except only 3 players from each group passes to STAGE 3. STAGE 3 will be one group of 6 players, and 2 players will pass to the FINAL STAGE where they will play a best out of 3 1v1 series.

HOW IT WORKS

As players sign up, they can choose their starting group (8 players for each group). If you do not pick a group, I will assign one for you. 4 groups, 1 for each of the map will play their first game. Winner goes on to stage 2 picking 1 out of 2 maps from that stage. The remaining 7 players will play their next game on the next map from their group. This will continue until 4 players goes through with the remaining 4 being eliminated from the tournament (4 Games total for each group)

There will be 2 groups here, players gets to pick which group they want as they are passed through from STAGE 1. There will be a total of 3 games for each group, passing 3 players through to STAGE 3 and eliminating 5 players from each group.

There is one group of 6. First game takes place on Feudal War map, winner goes through to Finals while remaining 5 players play on Berlin. Winner goes through and the remaining 4 are eliminated.

Freemiums must have completed at least 20 games, no exceptions!
Just reply to this thread and state which group you want to start in. If you don't state your group, you will be assigned to one randomly.
When the tournament starts I will send out invites. Please join within 24 hours of these invites. If you fail to join, I will resend the invite a 2nd time which gives you another 24 to join. If you fail the 2nd time then I will attempt to communicate with you and will be willing to work out something. If you do not attempt to communicate then you will be replaced and possibly denied any sign-ups for future tournaments I run.[/spoiler]
