I have an idea, a splendid idea, maybe the best idea ever.

Leave the ranks on CC as they are.

Even take back a change made some time ago, make the requirement for general 4000 points again, the way it used to be.

Ok i got your point you like the old fashion ranks, but i think we all have to decide on one model how big they should be, what color......etc.

Just for the record....the Canadian Armed Forces ranks are:
Army/Air Force Navy
Pte (recruit) (no badge) Ordinary Seaman (no badge)
Pte (one chevron pointed down) Able Seaman (one chevron)
Corporal (2 chevrons) Leading Seaman (2 chevrons)
Master Corporal(2 with maple leaf) Master Seaman (2 w maple leaf)
Sgt (3 chevrons) Petty Officer 2nd class (3 chevrons)
Warrant Officer (crown lower arm) Petty Officer 1st class (crown)
Master Warrant Officer (crown with Chief Petty Officer 2nd (crown/leaves)
leaves circling it)
Chief Warrant Officer (CDN Coat of Chief Petty Officer 1st class.(CDN CoA)
Arms)

Im sure theres an ex officer out there somewhere that will make the effort to list the commissioned ranks......I retired at PO1....and couldnt be bothered as my parents were married............
