Symbol to show who is online now

I think it would it be useful if there were a small symbol next to players names or ranks to show if they are online at the moment.

If you look on their profile in the upper right hand corner of the screen, there will be a label that says 'online'. If you look at the Username next to the name on a forum post, it will say 'online' if the user is online. This is unnecessary.

Yeah, online symbol is visible on the profile page. To show it on the game page will load the database and will slow down the page itself. So I think it is not that necessary.

I know it's on the profile & forums pages, that's what made me think it might be nice to see who is online whilst actually on a map.

But if it's too much load, never mind.
