I actually was going to post a question if the had changed them back. Perhaps I am just more used to them after a few months, but they do seem to resemble those Ive had through the years, and not the latest batch. My guess is the answer is no, and it would be crazy on anyones part not to accept that any problems are actually in the head.

If one assumes the dice are random, they will conclude and find evidence they are.
If one assumes the dice are not random, they will conclude and find evidence they are not.

I do suspect the problem is that random, is random.

In CC, somebody already rolled 2, 3, 4, or 5 dice, stuck the first 50,000 RESULTS of 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, 3v1, or 3v2 results in a list, uses a program to start somewhere randomly on the list, and refreshes the list when all the results have been used, or on the hour, whichever comes first.

It's "random" because us dummies have no clue where on the list the thing starts, or how many 2, 2, 3 and 6, 6 rolls got to the list, but it's LESS random than when attacker and defender roll actual dice.

And whether you get a 'good streak' or a 'bad streak' is as dependent on "what's left in the list?" as it is luck.

It seems to me that when I auto a stack versus a similar stack, say 50 attacking 48 it almost always ends up close to even. The edge of 3 dice seems to have disappeared. I do not feel they are reflective of real odds anymore.

You're not even keeping your own story straight. Is it 50 pieces of crud or is it a list of 50,000? Because my logic is sound either way...both the attacker and defender are getting their "rolls" from precisely the same place.

You don't even have the facts correct, because the list is not replaced "when all the results have been used", since the whole list is used each time a series of rolls starts. THERE IS NO "WHAT'S LEFT ON THE LIST", PERIOD.

Agreed, breaks are nice for awhile. May even give some of the players their first opportunity and see the sun!

I took a good break awhile back too, and it seemed to actually make me play better when i got back. I had som many games going that i wouldnt think moves through and basically attacked places that didnt need to be, giving myself much worse odds even with the streaky dice. A good week or so off refreshes the mind and brings you back to the basics...
