Ok, I'm currently 4-1, that should be well on the way to being enough on the qualify, so if no one minds(and maybe even if you do) I probably won't play any more games so that I can stay at 80%

Ah, so "..and at least the average number of games per player.."?
So how many would that be? (games played)223/55(players in tourney)=4.05(roughly) ? :-s
Or is it 223/25=8.9? I guess that would necessitate quite a few more games needing to be played, which will probably push up the average even more.

i have a question could tournament rights be extended to other mods in caht such as tfo or clapper etc because i find that by the time that i come home from school it is too late to play any games because jw and lv arent online

also, i have talked to otehr players and have found that this is the case with them as well

thanx

This isnt like an official tourny or anything...it just happens that me and jake are both moderators....
we have 3 pretty set times that we will always be on...ANd we cover it pretty well. Unfortunately if you cant make those then there isnt heaps we can do....We feel we are already commiting plenty of time for this

Not too bad. I guess I can live with being 2nd behind tb712 knowing that I've already beaten him.

As tomorrow is the last day of the play in round, is it possible you can update it today so we all know in which situation each of us is in?

Is this the median or mean?

The mean would be mean as it would mean only the players with the same body clock as the moderators would get through (probably regardless of win %age) - in fact, would there even be 16?

The median would mean that there are plenty of players eligible and that win %age would then count for something.

Also, are we considering players that applied for the tournament and didn't play as having 0 games played (thus lowering the average) or are we completely disregarding them?

average = total of all games played / number of players. LV is going to try to update the stats close to the end of the day US time, right now it's at 7-8 games needed.

Players that have not played do not count, as there are plenty that signed up and never played.

It is quite likely that qualification for the next round is determined by body-clock compatibility with Jke and Lv - maybe CC is becoming a love match site. ;)

Well with only a few hours left I think I took down the most games and should qualify so I am happy. I wanted best record but when you go 2-9 or something like that you have no chance at best record.

Too bad I won't have time to play the minimum 10 games I'd need for the general achievement medal.

Good luck everyone that remains in the competition! :)

That sucks, you just missed out on the requisite 7/8 games.
Quite surprising that the top 2 may not be eligible.

rodion--u needed to have best percent for the whole tourney so you would have needed enough games to pass to the next round so Leehar is accurate that players will need to have played 7 or 8 based on the average to go onto the next round where you could have gotten the best percentage.
