[Feedback Requested] Teammate Spoils II
Based on the suggestion to see teammate spoils and feedback from my previous proposal I have a new proposal that I would like to get your feedback on.
1) Your spoils would be moved from below the map to the stats table. There spoils will also be displayed for your teammates.
2) For escalating spoils the next set value will be printed just above the game clock.
3) To reduce scrolling, spoils will be represented visually in the stats table (thanks, Dako!). You can hover the mouse to find out the country name.
[bigimg]http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/3013/67078178.jpg[/bigimg]
4) To easily locate your spoils on the map, click on one of the spoil icons and the screen will jump up to the map. On the map, all of the spoil territories will be highlighted with the colour of the spoil. You can do this for your spoils and for any of your teammates.

So whatchya think??

Looks great to me. More functional than Dako's script (which I love) as it'll be easier to find them on the map.

Better now. What about the side-stats table?
Also, will color-blind option add color letter to the title of the spoil?
Can you please make the spoils border on map bolder so it is easier to see on jinxy-complicated maps like ConquerMan. Thin blue line will get lost there for sure.

Side stats just moves the table over, so it will have teammate spoils as well.
I'll add the colour-blind to the tooltip (good point!) and I'll try to adjust those borders to make them easier to see.

Why? This version makes it easy to see where they are on the map.

For side stats will work like that?

Re: [Feedback Requested] Teammate Spoils II
I already have to scroll on most maps to see the attack options to the point I can't see parts of the map. Having to scroll down just to see my spoils adds to the pain. Side stats are an option, but personally I don't see the big need to change the layout.
Add team mate spoils next to your partner's name(s) in the stats table/side stats and call it a day. Your own spoils shouldn't need to move at all to make that happen.

Because people still want to be able to easily see how many spoils they have, and the colors. If you're just looking at the map to tell how many spoils you have and what color, it may take you some thinking for it to really register. And with this version, if you do want an easy way of seeing all your spoils, you have to scroll down to your name, which can be a hassle if you are the last player on the list.

Re: [Feedback Requested] Teammate Spoils II
and that adds a question, if the spoils are like that what about people who can't see them??? in the map you have colour codes....and with the current form you can see wich colour is with colour codes

Re: [Feedback Requested] Teammate Spoils II
I don't like having to hover over them to see the names and have to figure out which are my own regions. The brackets [] stand out well now.

While we know that most options are improvements, we also believe that not all improvements are or should be options, because of the coding up-keep to make sure everything works for future updates gets bogged down (making updates slower) when we have to check to make sure things don't get broken across a plethora of options.

Yes

Colour codes can be applied next to the icons like this:
lackattack r:[] g:[] g:[] b:[] r:[]

We can make a variation of the icon shape when owned
Re: [Feedback Requested] Teammate Spoils II
Will this change take effect for all games, or just team games? If it's for all games, then it seems like it takes the cards slightly further from the map, which as others have mentioned is likely to cause a little bit of aggravation. If it's different for singles/team games, then it will more than likely cause confusion, and further aggravation.
Would it not be possible to keep the spoils information where it currently is for all games (with the card icons if people want them, and then add the teammate spoils to the table for team games? I think this compromise is actually workable.
I'd suggest making the colour of the card completely solid if you hold it.

Hovering would be annoying, especially in Nuclear.

Re: [Feedback Requested] Teammate Spoils II
The name of the card's territory needs to be spelled out somewhere. I really like the original idea of having my spoils stay exactly where they are, but with a hide/show button that adds a few lines with my teammates spoils in exactly the same format. What was wrong with this idea?

It would be the same for all games

I'm reluctant to that, the screen is already crowded and it just feels wrong to print redundant information

Re: [Feedback Requested] Teammate Spoils II
I don't like the idea of having to mouse over the cards in order to see which countries I have, so please don't shrink them.
Having access to seeing teammates cards makes sense.

I agree with Mr Benn. This is one thing where what you have now works great. If you wish to add more about the cards for your teammates then fine, but do not touch my spoils. Especially shrinking them down like so. I want to see full names for them so I can find them quickly and at my own pace. Having to scroll up and down is a real pain in the ass. Also for speed games this would be 5 steps backwards. I can multi task right now, but if we go to these little card icons there is no way you can keep your mouse on the board and also know what cards you have.
