hi...new here
hi guys could be a good site. As I've had some pretty weird results...like losing 13 against 3, 17:2 and odds defying results (never once yet in my favour) I'm just wondering if this site is known for being vulnerable to scripting or is this just the way the cookie crumbles here? No, Im not beinng a bad loser but if I was going to a casino I'd ask around to see if the wheels were rigged.

Actually, you would see that sort of thing in a casino if you stayed there long enough. What you have to remember is that there are literally hundreds of thousands of dice rolls every day here. So the opportunities for those results to happen through random chance are certainly increased. The results you're seeing are actually a function of the good randomness of the dice here.

the dice aren't vulnerable to scripting. The dice get their numbers and results as a string of numbers from http://www.random.org. they have a huge section on how exactly they make the numbers random.

You have to get used to the dice. Don't let it control you
I've lost 44v4 before

addendum
same attack against same player ( spacey) 6:1. lost, 5:1 lost so tally is 5 attacks lost 23 in multiple attacks against singles. Tell me that isn't suspicious.

Ok while I agree the dice are random yadda yadda yadda I still think this argument is bs every time I hear it.
This guy hasn't seen the hundreds of thousands of rolls, so why does that make any difference to him? If there are 10 billion dice rolls in one day and you see 100 of them would that mean you would expect to see 1 in a million occurences? Hell no. The argument doesn't make sense.

It doesn't matter at all how many rolls he's seen, only how many rolls have occurred. He's just been incredibly unlucky.

Re: hi...new here
seems whole can of worms opened up here. dunno whether or not to apologise!! Thinking seriously of buying a goat....just looking for a pretty one ( being from derbyshire where men are men and sheep are worried!).
I know full well the nature of random - lectured in esoteric physics for many years and still don't know what it means - but have been involved in sites ( the worst example was when I was a sysop for Netropolis) where some very clever people decided to use their talents in cheating, scripting being the usual route. When both myself and the other guy involved in a game commented on the incredible runs of bad dice for only 2/3 of us I thought I'd raise the issue and see where it fell.
So here's to the God of chaos ( as elric of melnibone and Michael Moorcock would have it) and let loose the goats of war.

Oh heavens no...if we weren't arguing about this, we'd be arguing about something else. <laughing>

You might consider the slightly less expensive chicken option, as well. Err...uh...for sacrificing only, of course!

Re: hi...new here
played 650+ games and I've never lost 17v2. It does and can happen though, that is the meaning of truly random.
Don't listen too much to those that would tell you dice are rigged...
Streaks happen, *because* the dice are random. It evens out in the end. Some people just have very selective memory.
Welcome to CC

Using the fact there are X amount of rolls a day doesn't make any difference what so ever to what he should observe, so why does it matter?

if you buy a goat remember it is animal cruelty to while alive but it in your trunk even if you are going to kill it.

but in order to get good dice you must sacrifice it on top of 8 dice while cc homepage is up within 5ft of your computer. good luck with the cops.
and as an add on the sheep should be groomed to have to cc on it!
