Is there a reason that the next round can't start before all games in the previous round are complete? Inquiring freemiums want to know.

First games come out next Wednesday. We'll go in reverse order (with some possible exceptions that would include accommodating freemiums). Rate of invitations will depend on how busy I am with work.

Rounds have overlapped. Right now the tourney is on hiatus for about 5 more days. You can make your bracket predictions in the mean time. Check prior posts.

Nice Idea not to bother with the red on the predictions list. I followed suit. Also, you have to have all your picks by end of Tuesday. We do all the picks up front for all the rounds. You can't wait and see what the match-ups will be for the later rounds.

Why the 5 day hiatus?

This is my first tournament. Are they usually this slow? I'm sure its a lot of work, so thanks for your effort.

tournaments usually is not so slow, this one is because the organizer put in some additional contests to make it more fun. other reason is that this one is tournament with the most active players so it is a lot of games to make and handle.

@ ViperOverLord: did you bluffed with your last prediction or you rapidly changed your opinion? last time you predicted that [player]jennaklummzxox[/player] will win the whole tournament, now you predicted his eliminating in the first round  :o

- Well it was in the pm I sent but the time is to give people time to make predictions. It takes a lot of time for anybody wanting to do that.

- My sample bracket was just to show how to make picks. My real bracket is when I actually put the real guess work in. I'll root for Jenna since she's a 32 seed. But I had to be reasonable when I made my real guesses.

- Also the speed of a tournament depends on the size and also the organizer. You'll find that some tournament organizers are very fast and some are very slow. I'm probably in the middle. I've even been somewhat fast IMO. You just wouldn't know it because the amount of players is going to automatically create delays in rounds. I may get slower going forward due to increasing professional responsibilities so just know that. Although most of the heavy game load is done. Even if your freemium you don't have to worry because I'm not forfeiting players unless they are not at all being accommodating to get their games running. Just sit back and enjoy the fact that you're still in. The ride could end at any game!

suggestion: maybe points awarded for good pick in rounds 128,64,32 can be double (2,4,8) if pick is unseeded one. now everybody can pick all seeds and probabl will have a lot of good pick because every seed has little starting advantage. so, successfully picking unseed win may be awarded double.

What is an unseed? I thought everyone was seeded.

seed is player who make home map, unseed is player who plays on opponent's home map.

Yea, I see what you're saying, but in theory that could make it stupid not to pick the road person in certain match-ups. I'll keep it even.

Seedings were determined by points at the sign up stage I think
