Scores updated. The tournament is getting really close to Round 2, with the Narcoleptics just 2 games off of complete, the Hypochondriacs 4 games, and the Catatonics 11 games. The Schizophrenics still have 28 to go, but people in their group have started to earn their slot into the next round. The happenin' news is the scoring of the Narcoleptics' Terminator games. GreenBaize and rishark1969 tied for top killer at 31 kills, with badmoon barely behind at 28. Sadly, badmoon's really good Terminator effort isn't enough to offset his lower score, and thus he will be eliminated from the tournament.

benga, I'll be happy to do games "backwards," but it won't necessarily mean all the games finish at the same time. Each group finished games at a different rate (which is STILL faster than ESS:C's 4-month Round 1). Doing No Spoils first won't guarantee that everyone will finish all at once.

he keeps it at a max of 54 games at once, so it wouldn't make a difference, you'd still have to play all of the games

Scores updated. It's been a while since I did this, and I blame moving halfway across the country and having my gaming PC back for the first time in 6 months. Despite those facts, the Schizophrenics are STILL NOT DONE. But since we've had 3 people drop from the tournament (including one from the Schizophrenics), we can push on forward to Round 2. I will be mixing up the groups tomorrow and sending out games Tuesday. Expect a PM on this shortly. :)

At the rate we are progressing in this tournament (4 months for one round) it's going to be July 2012 before we have a champion!

True :o

The first round always takes the longest and it drops by about a month each round until it caps between 4 and 6 weeks. At least, assuming it acts like ESS:C any. Round 1 would've finished an entire month earlier had certain groups (*coughschizophrenicscough*) not decided to run a full statistical analysis on each turn. :P

It's called being thorough...never knew it was such a bad thing :(

Also, for round 2, do the groups get mixed up or are we thrown with all the same players?

I mix it up each round, though some of you ended up with a couple of people from your original group.

argh crap...I'm being knocked out left, right and centre on these standard games (wouldn't bother me so much if it was terminator ones)...I'm not thinking I'm surviving this round...

apart from the idiot trying to join a tournament in the "ongoing" section of the forum, any updates on performances so far? Just curious how far behind I am in my group, haha...as it's been going for almost 2 weeks now and it's progressing VERY quick imho...

Scores updated. Indeed, it is progressing very quickly. Both the Narcissists and Psychotics are over halfway done with the entire round with 47 and 39 games complete respectively. The Antisocialites and Histrionics got off to a late start (had to pull reserves), so they should be catching up shortly. Seeing as I sent out 54 games to start out with, only 18 games need to be sent to either group to finish out the round. So Round 2 should finish in something like a month at the present rate. I should've done 54 games at a time in ESS:C, it would've finished sooner.

Scores updated. Both the Narcissists and Psychotics need the rest of the round's games (promise tomorrow you'll have them), and the Antisocialites and Histrionics are starting to pick up steam. Presently there are a few people lagging behind the rest though much can happen between now and the end of the round.

Scores updated. I've sent out the second set of games for the round, meaning the last 18 are either being presently played, or are a small addition to the ones groups have remaining. I'm not quite ready to lock certify that people have advanced to the next round, but that should be soon enough.

Scores updated. While the Narcissists may have been screaming fast out of the gate for Round 2, they've been caught up to by both the Antisocialites (with just 12 games left in the round) and the Psychotics (tied with their 16 games left). Fairly soon players should start knowing whether or not they've advanced to Round 3.

Scores updated. Contrary to benga's belief, he indeed made enough points to make the next round (Terminator brought in scads). Sorry to see you go, though. :( Anyways, only 4 players don't have guaranteed spots into the next round with two groups done with both Assassin and Terminator. Props goes to trenchcoat with an utterly ridiculous 40 kills in Terminator this round. Scoring system for Rounds 2 and 3 are posted in the second post.

The Histrionics more or less took forever to finish up a few last games. They're still going, but they're at the point now that I can say the round is over. That and I had a rut of not wanting to update this. Der.

In any case, check the first post to see who advanced, I shall be sending out a PM soon telling the new group assignments for Round 3, which shall feature an eventual 120 games.

I'm sorry but I don't agree with reserves joining at this stage when we have already played 192 games.
If this is to be the case then please remove me from the tournament also.

Thanks
