Those who hate it probably don't understand it.
Either that, or they just don't like the gameplay. As it's quite diffrent from the normal kind of maps.

"everyone" doesn't. The thing is it is different from other map types and some people just don't like "different".
It's the same with Age of Merchants, AOR 2, Fuedal, ... and AOR 1 (though there is more reason there.. it is one that is a "newbie trap");

How did I know a thread titled "why" was made by pie or caveman without seeing the author name. You guys are too predictable, shake things up a bit with two words in a title.

I don't hate it, but I can see why people do. The strategy as too when and how you should attack is extremely different from other maps. Still, some of the strategies you have to use to be successful in AoR2 can be translated to "regular" maps when playing with FoW.

AoR 2 is a good map, but i cant say i love it.... there aren't any maps that id say are bad cause every map seems to have its fans.
but i will say that its understandable for people to not want to play on it as it is different... and not that different is bad, but a difference means that one type of gameplay will be preferred over another.
personally i love simple 'classic risk' maps better than gadgety maps... both are good but when you only have 4 games to play ima play the ones i like more

Pie does it all the time; you do it too. There are others as well. Monster10, Colton24... there are WAY too many... When you post a title that doesn't explain anything, we are forced to click on the thread. Yes, this gives you more views, which is what you wanted, but for most of us, it looks like you are an idiot who doesn't know how to use the "Subject" box correctly. It is just really annoying for those of us who wish to ignore boring threads. Feel free to keep doing it if you want to be the moron that no one likes!
To be perfectly fair, Pie has been the worst in recent memory... but you do it, too, Cayman.
