Re: the longest thread, thread - Occasionally NSFW
MW2 is overrated. I can't believe it's still at 59.99 for a PCU game and they've already marked down Mass Effect 2 to 39.99 and L4D2 down to 29.99 when both of those were actually better games.

Re: the longest thread, thread - Occasionally NSFW
In other news, tonight I took the curlson to see Last Airbender. I loved the TV series, and I was afraid it was going to be really awful - but it was excellent, really really good. There was a spontaneous round of applause at the end, first time in ages I've seen that in a cinema.
Even better, they didn't get all greedy and try to do it all at once - this movie covered Book 1. And ended with the hint of what happens next.
Go and see it, folks.

The originals fine in my book I've just gotten so tired of the sequel. It's all anyone ever wants to play when there's video games to choose from it and halo.

Original Mortal Kombats for Sega Genesis
Original Sonics for Sega Genesis
Original Pokemons for Gameboy
Civilization for PC

... From my Blackberry, and no typos there. And I almost never text.

Original Mortal Kombats for Sega Genesis
Strangely, Mortal Kombat is the only fighting game of it's kind I can play. Games like Street Fighter or Soul Caliber I can't stand, but the MK series I cant get enough of.
Original Sonics for Sega Genesis
Loved those, but whenever I try to play them nowadays, I find the gameplay to get a little repetative (run and jump like crazy, abuse Tails, repeat).
Original Pokemons for Gameboy
Oh, YESH. Along with Legend of Zelda, quite possibly the only truly good portable console game series.
Civilization for PC
I never really played this one myself, but my uncle owned it and it seemed pretty good.
Original Halo
The only Halo I have ever played is Halo 2 and a few rounds of Halo 3, and even then, I don't own either.

Truthfully I've never actually play RDR so I was just making something up for conversation sake. Other than that. Strike Halo from your list. All halo has done is be a very good but generic shooter game able to capture the attention of a large audience.

Abusing tails is what made the game worthwhile. I'm not sure what I would think of the old sonics games now. Haven't played them in a while. However I did go back to the old mario games which is about the same except minus abuse tails and plus use fire flower and I still love those games.

I wasn't planning to despite liking the TV series but now that you've endorsed it I'll try to go see it.

Considering he dislikes star wars and refuses to see the godfather I'm going to give this a probably.

**Munches on a banana** If more films incorporated banana-bunches into their scripts, I'd go see them.
