This tournament will be an eight player triples with a WWII theme structured similar to the world cup. The first part will be a group stage, with 2 groups of 4 teams, chosen at random. Each of these teams will declare one of the 8 maps with WWII in its title as their home map and also state the settings to use. In order for each map to be used each map can only be claimed by one team and it is first come first serve.

In this group stage each team will play the other teams in their group twice, once at each team’s home map. Winning both games score 3 points, splitting the games 1 point, and losing both is 0 points. Both games against an opponent will start at the same time. The match ups will be:

The two highest scoring teams from each group will advance to the knock round. The tie break will be: players eliminated difference, players eliminated, results between tied teams, and finally coin toss.

For the knockout round the winner of each group will play the runner-up of the other group. This round will be a best of 3 at Pearl Harbor. The group winner will get to choose the settings for 2 games (to give a perk for winning the group), and the runner up will choose the settings for the other game.

The winners of these matches will advance to the finals which will be a best if 3 played at D-Day: Omaha Beach! , with each team choosing the settings for one of the games, and the third game will played with all of the settings that are the same in each teams choice and a coin toss to choose the settings to use for those that are different. The winner of this is declared the champion.

Other notes
There will only be 2 games at a time so all are welcome. (The knockout round may play 3 games, but only if all are premium or the freeuims agree).

When you register please state a team captain and the map and setting you would like to use. Remember each map can only be claimed by one team. When the games start I will send the games to the captain who will then tell his teammates. For knockout round I will ask the team captain what settings his team wants.
