99,99975%, yeah? GOOD! Lets go to round 20 then .....

So, round 20, against the SAME guy, three 3x1 lossesm in the same attack. I finally GOT the territory, but not before losing a lot of armies. Battles were: 12x2 - win 1 lose 1 / 11 x 1 lose / 10x1 win - advance 9 / 9x1 lose 1 / 8 x 1 win advance 7 (got to said frontier) / 7 x 1 lose / 6 x 1 lose / 5 x 1 lose / 4 x 1 win.

Now I am waiting to round 21 to lose 3 again.. or more.

Rounds 17 and 18: Roughly 1.5% of the time this will happen
Round 19: Roughly 1.1%

All in all you should get better dice 99.99975% of the time you roll these attacks.

Oh wait when you say you lose " three 3x1" does that mean you lose 3 times rolling 3 dice against 1 die or you lose with 3 armies on you're territ and 1 on theirs? IF its the first one my numbers are completely wrong

I'd love someone to explain to me how when I am on a 'bad' streak, as 'random' apparently produces, my opponents appear to be on great dice streaks?

I am down about 600 points now in 2 weeks, and I haven't even played that much ... mostly based on fucked up dice ... consistently losing 8v3 and 9v3 - on a regular basis ... and in my last game I just lost 15v1. My opponent was busy taking out 4v19, 13v17, 3v6, among plenty of others.

Why do the bad streaks last so long, and then it takes so long to climb back up? Random my ass ......

Appearances can be deceiving. While it happens, I think most of the time your (or my or whoever's) bad dice makes your (etc.) opponents dice look better. I have a bad habit of convincing myself that if I try one more time it'll get better, only to lose two more to my opponent (that said, it has paid off... go figure). Once I'm weakened they just walk right through like they own the place.

Lately, I've been trying to contain myself when I'm going through a bad streak and try again next round... or the round after that... or the round after that.

It comes and goes, some days I can't do wrong, others I can't do right.

I'm probably in the minority (at least in this thread) but I don't think the intensity cubes are all that bad. Sometimes they're good for me, other's they're not. Yesterday was both, I was demolished because I couldn't defeat an 8v3. In another game I couldn't conquer a 10v1 (I did stop myself after two tries on the 10v1 though), the later in that game, when it mattered I was able to walk through 5 or 6 territs and win the game. :)

What you say does make a lot of sense .... but my streaks run for days and weeks at a time.

I 'm talking about probably 8-9 games out of 10 that I am getting ridiculously bad dice. On my current streak I am down about 600 points (again). This is in part due to my playing 1v1 again a little - where I always seem to get f'ed ... but in some of the game chat my opponents have even said - sorry, I've never seen anything like that ... example ....

one opponent I had took a 51 vs my 60 and won with 49 left!!! Then I lost 18v2. He then started with a 13 and took it through a 16, a 13, a 9, and a 7 (some of those numbers might be off but still pretty accurate). Yesterday I had an opponent take a 4 through a 19 and THEN a 9 lol .... I understand the whole random thing, and understand this happens from time to time .... BUT

what I don't get is how the dice can be so streaky and consistently bad over days and weeks at a time. I do get good streaks too, but they never last nearly as long as my bad ones. My best strategy in those streaks is to stockpile and hope my opponents dice fail - pretty sad .....

I feel your pain man. Late last week and so far this week I've had horrible dice. I've had a few games with particularly good dice, but other than that, it's been a bad week or so for me. Like I said though, that's the way it goes. I went at a guy earlier 33 v 29. I won. I had 4 armies left. I wound up losing because that was the only time I won without decimating myself in the process.

Sometimes the only strategy is to fort as much as possible and hope for the best.

jleonnn if I lost 1000 points I wouldn't have anything left :P

When all you complain that your dices are bad and you've lost so and so many points, I wonder where are all the guys who profit from this, ie. the guys who took your points?

Uh.. I think the sooner you all realise that virtual points and pixelated medals really are meaningless and that the only thing that counts is enjoying the maps and games and having partners to play with, the better will be for your inner peace and outer karma ;)

Yep, even if the price of getting said partners to play with is to lose seven times in a row a 3x1 attack... from 10 armies down to 3 -- I only got the territory when I attacked 2x1 truly a gem.

I don't get it. Why have you put some fish in an oak coffin and then shot them? Or was it a pine Wardrobe? Mods on this site are weird

what i know is that my attack dice sucks... i lost nearly 700 score in a row recuperated about 200 and now im going down again, in the last months... i play around the same maps, around the same rank people, and i didnt lose any brains but it seems i can barely win a roll like 10v1, some games i am totally winning just to go lose 15v1 or v2 or v3 time and time again... just check game chat on my "last" games... i usually write the most terrible rolls :|

Ghost... you have committed a faux pas.

The only appropriate way to make a new complaint about the dice is to create an entirely new thread.
