Re: BOB 5.0.3

Icon align is a bit broken.

Change line 2603 :

Code: Select all

-- ' Bonus Cards" alt="' + player.cards + ' Bonus Cards" class="icon3" src="http://static.conquerclub.com/cards.gif"/>' + player.cards + ' '

++ ' Bonus Cards" alt="' + player.cards + ' Bonus Cards" class="i3 icon" src="http://static.conquerclub.com/cards.gif"/>' + player.cards + ' '

As you see, CC has changed icons class a while ago.

<Other Player> ... 21 / 49 (45%)** 65 0 (16 + 0 + 0) = 16 0
g:Leehar ... 36 / 36 (33%)* 95 11 ...

Since he hasn't taken a turn yet, and I start with 33 regions myself, I'm confused as to why Bob's telling me that my opponent is going to start with 49 regions?
(Sorry if this is a bit unclear.. >_< )

Yeah, you're right. It goes wrong for 2-player games in fog in the first round, since I forgot that the available territories are divided by 3 in stead of 2 in this case..
I guess I'll update this evening again, ashame I still don't have a clue about the failing snapshots though.

It seems that Sherk understands ;) There are too many for it to be in only one game tho

Thats what it's telling me.. When I only have the 10 territories anyway...

Thanks for mentioning, I forgot 1 thing apparently.

r:Leehar 0 (0) 9 ( 38% ) 3 / 4 (9%)-

Yeah, this is still coming, where I have only 3 terr, but am told 4

skerknar, this might be a stupid question but is there a way u can just use the snapshots from the last version of BOB and just put it in the new BOB 5.0.3?

I've just put version 5.0.4 online with some bug fixes (again).
I don't think I've solved the snapshots-problem, but I don't see it happening at all at the computers I use, so that makes it kinda strange.
So there might be a potential problem there, the others mentioned in this thread should be solved.

If your snapshots don't work, and you are friendly enough to help me solving this, please give me the following data (in this thread or through a PM):
1.) Do you have any other scripts installed (relevant to CC)?
2.) What doesn't work, making snapshots or showing snapshots?
3.) If you try to perform the action that doesn't work (see question 2), does anything show up in the (javascript) console (ctrl-shift-j) at all?
4.) Odd chance: Are you working on a Mac?

1) Map rank GL and Clickable Maps installed
2) showing snapshots is goofy, not broken completely.
Normally click on a snapshot from previous round, see who is where. Click over player icon, player's terts light up, now seemingly random terts light up, or look right at player's tert NOT lit up
3) Tons of these errors:
Warning: Unknown pseudo-class or pseudo-element 'first'.
Source File: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=7121751
Line: 0
also this one:
Warning: Error in parsing value for 'overflow'. Declaration dropped.
Source File: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=7121751
Line: 0
4) not a Mac, PC running XP and Firefox 3.6.3

For the past few weeks BOB has not been working for me. I tried removing it (and even Greasemonkey) and re-installing it. Now I don't even get the BOB menu on the Main page.

I am getting an error in my Firefox Error Console that JSON is not defined.

I am running Firefox 3.0.19 on an Ubuntu 8.10 machine.

I upgraded BOB on my Windows machine and it works fine.

Any thoughts on what to try next for my Linux box?

3.5 or higher is sufficient.

Merged from separate topic into the usual BOB maintenance topic, then quoted to put where the maintainers of BOB will see it:
steve066 wrote:BOB retains my numerical settings in map options i.e. opacity/ brightness
but does not apply them when i return to game. all maps seem to default to a neutral like appearance.

also, when using mouse wheel to select number of men to drop the entire map scrolls in addition to
drop amount

suggestions plz

s

If I'm not mistaken, both of these issues have been raised before.

For the record, I'm the only maintainer at the moment, I read that thead actually. And I think this was solved in 5.0.4.

Does BoB work in Google Chrome?

I have had a quick look around the forums but there is no conclusive answer.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

Just try it. It works good enough, only the coloring/adding army amounts of the dropdowns doesn't always work, and it doesn't show when an update is available (and Chrome forces you to uninstall before you can update to a new version last time I checked). But the rest works afaik.
