News
June 23rd 2010: Let the games begin!
June 27th 2010: After 10 well-fought rounds, the two Americans move on. [player]HighlanderAttack[/player] wins the Black Game, Game 7195176, with [player]jchamp[/player] defying the odds and comes in second. [player]wreakead[/player] was eliminated earlier in the day, with [player]MarVal[/player] being the next victim. [player]HighlanderAttack[/player] and [player]jchamp[/player] (Cadet!!!), from the USA, move on.
June 28th 2010: Another game has completed. The game is Game Green, Game 7195192. With [player]captaincanuck[/player] weakening [player]redrumredum[/player] and (to a smaller effect) [player]ETROPAL[/player],[player]I_AM_BOGEY[/player] says "thank you very much" and cleans-up what captaincanuck started, and then wins the game. [player]Captaincanuck[/player] and [player]I_AM_BOGEY[/player], from Canada and USA respectively move on.
June 30th 2010: Action seems to have quieted down, with the Blue Game, Game 7195189 only in it's third round while the Red Game Game 7195183 is in it's seventh round with [player]caymanmew[/player](red) dominating most of the Americas while his opponents [player]Txflier[/player] (blue), [player]Meneses Scandia[/player] (yellow) and [player]Mass Miracle[/player] (green) struggling to survive in the East. Who will move on???
July 2nd 2010: Happy belated Canada Day to all my fellow canadians, and happy independence day to all the Americans. Not much has changed since the last update in the Blue Game, Game 7195189, and the Red Game Game 7195183 has [player]caymanmew[/player](red) dominating, and [player]Mass Miracle[/player] (green) possibly could be the runner-up!
July 6th 2010: In both games, the score seems to have evened out and this might take a long time!
July 11th 2010: In Red Game Game 7195183, [player]Txflier[/player] (blue) misses a turn, and [player]caymanmew[/player](red) makes him pay by eliminating the first player in the game. Now the remaining trio battle it out to determine who moves on! Blue Game, Game 7195189 is in it's twelth round with [player]Pardre[/player] (red) now leading the game, with [player]ObliterationX[/player] (blue) trying close behind. Trailing players are [player]Risk_Averse[/player] (yellow) who is spread out all over and surviving by the skin of his teeth, and [player]Leehar[/player] (green) strong in troops but little in regions. Who will move on???
July 13th 2010 Red Game Game 7195183 has completed with a bang. [player]Meneses Scandia[/player] (yellow) is also eliminated now leaving [player]caymanmew[/player](red) and [player]Mass Miracle[/player] (green) to battle it out for first place. [player]caymanmew[/player] from Canada and [player]Mass Miracle[/player] from the U.S of A move on.
July 20th 2010 It's been nearly a month and we have our final 8! Blue Game, Game 7195189 has [player]Leehar[/player] (green) taking out [player]Risk_Averse[/player] (yellow) and [player]Pardre[/player] (red) and moving on with [player]ObliterationX[/player] (blue).
Our final 8 are:
[player]I_AM_BOGEY[/player]
[player]Captaincanuck[/player]
[player]Highlander_Attack[/player]
[player]Caymanmew[/player]
[player]Mass Miracle[/player]
[player]jchamp[/player]
[player]Leehar[/player]
[player]ObliterationX[/player]
Thanks to the others for playing.
July 21st 2010 [player]Leehar[/player] wanted me to summarize Blue Game, Game 7195189, so here I go!
It took 26 days, 3 hours, 28 minutes and 45 seconds and took place across 4 different time zones, took 19 and a half conquer club rounds, including 1 missed turn, or in other words, a really, really loooong time for it to conclude, but it ended with a BANG! I was begging somebody to eliminate someone else, but everyone was playing cautious, until [player]Leehar[/player] (green) took out [player]Risk_Averse[/player] (yellow) after 18 rounds of gruelsome playing. Then the others panicked and [player]Pardre[/player] (red) proved too weak, and became [player]Leehar[/player] (green)'s victim. Even thoguh the qualification was sealed up, [player]Leehar[/player] (green) went in a 20th round frenzy and took all 11 of [player]ObliterationX[/player] (blue)'s troops and took a clean sweep of the long, boring game that ended with a bang. [player]Leehar[/player] (green) won a huge 65 points with the win, and now, the semi-final games have begun!
August 19th 2010 It took some time, yes indeed, but here we go! The first ever Sensfan's (not-so) Speedy Singles Final is underway! A 34 round showdown in Orange Game, Game 7334949 is not yet complete, but leader jchamp (yes, leader. a freemium Private 1st Class was beating 2 Colonels and a Major) went out in the most disapproving way possible. He deadbeated! (yes, deadbeated) [player]Mass Miracle[/player] just hung on there and did nothing while ObliterationX eliminated fellow Colonel [player]I_AM_BOGEY[/player].
Meanwhile, [player]Leehar[/player] took an easy 10 round victory and got to eliminate 2 of CC's biggest names, [player]HighlanderAttack[/player] and [player]caymanmew[/player], and my biggest name, my very own father, [player]captaincanuck[/player] (he's a proud canadian!). Leehar won this match nearly a month ago! The match was Game 7334947, Purple Game. The Golden Game is this: Game 7494764
Good luck to our contestants, may the best man win!

Re: Sensfan's Speedy Singles--Classic (Round 1)
You are doing a great job with this tourney. Much easier to handle than one of those really large ones and the quality you have done with this is very impressive--great job bud.

Re: Sensfan's Speedy Singles--Classic (Round 1)
Question - why are Red and Blue 1st and 2nd split into the separate Orange and Purple games, when the Black and green 1st and 2nd go into the next round together?
