JohnBoss's Fantasy Risk League [Canceled]

Due to being over in time allowed to fill a tourney, I have shrunk the size of this tourney. Just need a few reserves now.

Alright, here we go. The greatest combination ever, Risk and Fantasy Sports.

This league/tourney will have 12 teams of 4.
Now for the tricky part. The first 12 players to post with a team name and home map will be team owners. The next 36 players to post will be pool players for the 12 team captains to draft from. The drafting order will be selected from a random drawing.
These 12 teams will be split into a Western and Eastern conference, each conference split into 2 divisions of 3 teams. All teams will play a 12 game schedule, with the top 4 teams from each conference advancing to the playoffs.
Settings will be auto, seq, esc, sunny.

The goal is that after one season (finished tourney), to expand to more teams. Any current players will have first choices at owning expansion teams. All team owners will be invited back prior to second season and on. For any team whose owner chooses not to continue the highest ranking player from that team will be offered ownership. For the second season and on all players other than team owners will have to repost to get back into the league/tourney.

After this league/tourney fills there will be a thread posted in the general discussion forum for the draft.
For all players who become team owners, please be sure to check out all available players before the draft.

if you have more than 4 per team you could have other matches consisting of doubles, triples, quads and the team owner decides the lineup for each particular game

The draft each season will be determined by the prior seasons rankings. As for larger teams it is something that could be considered as this thing grows from season to season.

it is up to the team owners to draft the players they belief will be best for their team.
