oaktown wrote:#1 - the cleaner the army circles the better, a philosophy i need to embrace in my own map. Plus #1 kinda look like Mentos, and it just seems like good luck to have the freshmaker represented.

lol oaktown. i agree, #1.
Do you need an excuse to have a war? I mean, who for? Can't you just say "You got lots of cash and land, but I've got a big sword, so divy up right now, chop chop."

Well Andy. It has been 2 days and the circles issue seems to have been solved. What is next. Again thanks to everyone who has helped this map along.

Lets see the latest versions of both the Large and the Small maps.

Also, lets see two more independent images with the army coordinates centralized in the shadows.

the army circles on red and yellow king are a bit to the right.
and the following armies are also off centre: s1 s2 s3 s4 c3 r2 r3 g2 g6 g7 g8 y1 y2 p2 p3

the map is gorgeus. good job

on the small map s4 army number is still a bit off. move it to the right and up. probably one pixel in each direction.

and the red king and yellow king circles are still off centered. move them a bit to the left.

Here we go again. Thanks DiM for all of the help. When you sit and look at the same numbers over and over, you don't always see the little things. I tell ya. All of this 1 pixel here, one pixel there stuff sucks. My brain is going crazy. I can just imagine what World 2.0 was like.

He's got a point, all we're doing is nitpicking a few pixels placement ehre and there, nothing noticeable.

And that's the difference between Final Forged and Quenched. The little things.

Hey - here's something for you...

I did the coding for the Conquer 4 map... and during that I found that if you name your continent bonuses the same then the Log will group all the logs together and only write out one log...

So what I think you should do is rename all the "King" continent bonuses to something appropriate i.e. "Kings" and then it will tell you how many armies you get in total... instead of having a few logs for 2 kings 3 kings 4 kings and 5 kings...

This would also work with your shape bonuses.
