Okay, welcome to the newest jrh tourney. This tourney represents a general change in style for me
This tourney values ability on all maps, it's not a tourney for specialists
PREMIUM ONLY, we're going to play too many games at once for freemie's in this tourney
SIGN-UPS!!!: LOOK HERE OR ELSE
if you don't post a map or post a map that is already taken, you will not be accepted into the tourney. I put this at the very top, even above where you figure out what you're signing up for, so everyone should see it (supposedly)
The list of taken maps is in the second post
If you don't post spoils/fog settings, I'll pick them for you (on my favorite settings for that map)
in, this sounds like the best tourney EVER!!!
American Civil War
No Spoils
Sunny

- There will be 160 players in this tourney, with each player representing a different map that is out right now. So, when you sign up, post a map that has not been taken, the list of taken maps is in the second post. Also post your home spoils and fog settings
- Random does count as a map for this tourney, but only 4 players can get random, there are 156 maps right now, so 156 people have to fill them up, the other 4 will be random
- Any player that gets a beta map, if your beta map goes down for any reason, you will have random as your home map as well until the beta map goes back up (if it does)
- Any maps that are added after right now (if they aren't on the list) will not be used for this tourney unless they are drawn through random map.
- You will have 2 days to join your games, I can forfeit you at any time after that
- My word goes
Every map (see above), 1v1, Auto, Seq, Chained, spoils and fog settings are players choice

Okay, once there are 160 players each with a different map, I will put everyone into one big list in random.org's random list generator. Then I will put the first 5 players in a group, then the next 5, all the way down to Group 32
Round Robin: Everyone will play 5 home games and 5 away games against each player in their group, for a total of 40 games, sent out in 5 groups of 8 games. The player with the best record in each group advances, for a total of 32 players in the bracket round.
If there is a tie, the player with the best Away record advances. If there's still a tie, the player with the lower CC ranking advances
TWIST: Everyone that advances has to take the map that they had the WORST win percentage on in the Round Robin portion as their home map, which shows the importance of Cross-Map ability.
If you had a tie for worst win percentage, you can pick whichever of the tied maps you want
Your original home map can (and will) stay your home map if that is the map with your worst winning percentage (that would be awesome)
The settings for spoils and fog stay the same as the settings the original person had
Bracket: The remaining 32 players will be put into a bracket using their records from Round 1, then lower CC score gets the tiebreaker. The top ranked player plays 32nd, etc. all the way to 16 v 17. There will not be any reseeding between rounds. Each matchup will be a 7 game series, 3 games on each of the players new home maps, and 1 game on the higher seeds original home map (the one they signed up for at the beginning of the tourney). Every time you win a series, you take the other players home map as your own. This will continue until the semis, when the series will increase to 9 games each (4 on each players main home map at that point, 1 on the higher seeds original map). The finals will then be 11 games (5 each new map, 1 higher seeds original)
If you didn't read this spoiler, you will probably get really pissed if you advance to the bracket round
