Demoting?

Just curious... if a player falls below the min. point requirement after they've been awarded a rank (Liet, Sgt, Private, etc...), are they demoted to the lower rank?

yeah i would think you need to maintain your points to maintain your rank.

I disagree. There's already too much emphasis on rank here. I'd rather just play for fun and not worry about my rank, but I know that I will start looking at my points if I think that my rank will be taken away.

I think it's enough that you will be higher in the standings if you have a a lot of points. I agree that you should still have to get a certain amount of points to achieve rank, but after that you shouldn't have to worry about it. Most of us tend to go up and down, and I don't want to have to think about it.

On the other hand it might be easier to sneak up on someone if they didn't see all those stripes....lol
