Airbus planes are far more comfortable, quieter, and generally nicer all around, in my opinion.

... Anybody around here been in that new (well, new-ish) GIANT Airbus plane? I haven't, but I'd like to take a ride in one.

... As for the poll, I've no idea, sorry. I never pay attention to what manner of plane I'm in.

Airbus is better to be a passenger in.

But Boeing's are apparently much better to fly and work in, according to my BA cabin crew source.

I went for Airbus. European solidarity and so forth.

Wow...what are you guys talking about? You would rather have a cattle car than a limo? Have you not flown on a 777?

Boeing all the way!

Remember...the interior comforts of a plane (seat pitch, etc) have nothing to do with the manufacturer and EVERYTHING to do with the airline. Any Cathay Pacific flight for example is going to be light years better than Air Tran, regardless of the airplanes manufacturer.

BTW, Boeing is seriously kicking Airbuses collective asses lately with their new Dreamliner (787).

Here's a 3 step plan for how NOT to appear like a 11 year old redneck:

1: Look at the topic. It's "who makes the better airplanes".

2: Post something relevant. TO THE TOPIC. Which is: "WHO MAKES THE BETTER AIRPLANES." Don't talk about WW2. Or the American economy.

3: Avoid repeated exclamation points.Even though, as we all know, it makes you look far more intelligent and means people look twice as hard at your points.

But stating "European Solidarity" as a measure of a planes worth is somehow different?

Hypocrite.

Yeah, good point. Except, wait, hang on.... no, no it isn't. It's a lame point. Man, must suck to be you.

I gave reasons for liking both, then explained why I opted for Airbus. And you're also a twat.

lol, that was pretty good, Backglass.....and i never said i diagreed with evolution....my personal opinion is that God helped out in evolution, but it seems like that's the middleman, and there is no such thing as a middleman in religion...

anyways, back on topic, i must admit, Airbus is a very good plane maker, however i have never been on an Airbus, it seems that here in the US there are only Boeings

I'd say it was "spot on" to use your vernacular.

Yes you did. You then slammed another for nationalism...while spouting it yourself.

Thus speaketh the boy in his prom suit. Well, if you cant argue the point very well, just call names. It will make you feel better about being wrong at least. ;)
