The RPI is a factor in who gets into the dance; it is not the sole criteria. Nothing is certain until the season is over and the committee looks at everyone's body of work.

I'll post a further update later on this evening

North Carolina wins its second straight ACC tourney title. Hopefully they will not get snubbed again with an 8 seed like last year!

So only 1 team has an automatic bid to the tournament so far? Just wondering how the top 25 is going to pan out for the big games.

Sorry, guys, been studying quite a bit this weekend and haven't updated. There will be another update tonight.
Missionary, to answer your question, there have been 14 automatic berths clinched so far. The only conferences that still have active tournaments are the Atlantic 10, the Big East, and the WAC. 3 more automatic berths are up for grabs, and then 48 at-large bids will be decided on by the selection committee (myself, yellow, and flex).

Congrats to #3 Utah St. on beating #4 Nevada in the WAC championship game!
Congrats to #1 Villanova on beating #2 Georgetown in the Big East championship game!
Just waiting on the Atlantic 10 now... you probably won't get any updates from me until something happens in that tournament.

Despite early season injury and off the court problems....Defending champs UCLA ended 18-3 dominating the Pac-10. Hope the committe sees this in the seeding for the NCAAs. respect

Note to all freemiums waiting on the NCAA tournament and/or NIT tournament:
These tournaments will not start until at least May 1, so you don't need to save a spot between now and then. There are still 3 games left to be played in the Atlantic 10 tournament, followed by the selection committee's process.
