There is one game left to finish up in round 1. Once this is completed I will post the match-ups for round 2.

OK. Well round one is now over an there were no shortage of surprises, just like in the NCAA basketball tournament there were some big upsets. We lost two #2 seeds and a #3. 4 seeds really took a beating. We saw 3 out of the 4 go down in defeat. But just like the NCAA tourney, none of the #1 seeds lost in the first round.

Anyway, enough of that! Lets get on to round two and see what happens now. Please see below the new pairings. I will post game numbers and I will be sending your invites out shortly.

Also, one other note, Jock McCock has lost his premium membership and currently has too many games open. He can no longer accept an invite to the second round of the tournament. So, woolleyy will get a new opponent as soon as one of my reserve players accepts the spot. Further, I have made an executive decision that after the second round is complete if someone cannot continue on with the tournament, that spot will be vacated for that round and their opponent will be declared the winner by forfeit. I don't want to invite a new player to the tournament that did not have to work to get through the first two rounds. So if your opponent cannot play, you will be moved on to the next round and not have to play a brand new player.
