Premium Membership by Text Message

I wont suggest this by the form because its a little hard and english its not my primary language.
So, what I think of what should be implemented is to buy a Premium Membership by text message. I think its very important, because many of the users are underage and subsequentialy dont have a credit card. They could also ask their parents, but most of them would say no. Its a little difficult to convince parents to pay 25 bucks with their credit card for an online game that they, most of the times, dont know it exists. Thats my case. Many of the online games have it, why CC doesn't? They could do 15 days - 3 dolars or 1 month - 5 dolars and get even more profit than they already have. Maybe this has been suggested before, or maybe it exists and I havent saw it yet (!), but I think it would be a major update for CC, and we could be seeing less gray ranks from here on out.

I don't know if this is the best place to post this. But I've found a very valuable business information for those who run this site. More price gauging is required. I volunteered to pay for 1/2 of someone's premium and I only got three people who were interested. Therefore, there is very little price sensitivity to premium price. If only three players (only one was freemium) would pay 12.50 to play here, surely those who have already bought premium are very price inelastic. I bet you can raise the price to $50 and your premium user total will only very slightly decrease. Sorry MrClimax- it's just business...

They would only lower the price/months because you dont usually have 25 bucks on your phone and plus is more acessible. Having a credit card is very rare for underage people. Mobile phones are common. I think you should implement this. It would help the CC Community to increase more and better... well that's only my opinion

I think it is a great idea.
P.S. You don't need a credit card btw, you can pay with a debit card (you can have one even if you're underage).

SMS, and other ways to purchase Premium Membership are high on the priority list, since we know that our current methods may not be able to reach all those who have a desire to be Premium Members.

I forget where the key is, but "high on the priority list" roughly translates to sometime between now and 21 December 2012

Here in Spain you can been owner of your own account bank at 16 at with that you can apply and in some banks without any charge till you are 25(for example la caixa,the one with a star as a logo) if you are less than 16 you need someone to share the propierty of the account and with that you can also aply a debit card.


im telling you all this because I guess that in spain and portugal(and all the eurozone) works more or less the same way in things of money and therefore banks.

Very good idea, especially the option to buy premium for shorter periods like 2 months.
I think people will buy a premium membership for 2 moths for 5 dollars a lot faster than a 12 month premium membership for 25 dollars.

i suggested something like this a few months ago and i got the same answer so i wouldnt expect this to be implemented any time soon
