new recruits

Post by drisk »

I would like the option of foeing all new recruits. The vast majority ars either deadbeats or multi's. How can you make this possible and when ?

Hey now! As someone who just figured out he was a new recruit, I am very offended by this statement!

..What's a multi, or a deadbeat for that matter?

What's a foe? Or for that matter, a 'friend'?

Hiding my online status wasn't hard. As someone who frequents most forums, it's the first thing I look for.

When am I not a Question Mark anymore?

After you have completed 5 games. Don't mind the paranoia. Some people just expect anyone with a ? next to their name to be as helpless as newborn kittens. Take it as a compliment...

And drisk, he hasn't foed you, you just can't post on New recruits' walls.

I assumed he was some sort of "i'm very angry" internet person.

What rank do I get when I move on out of ?ism? And I get to be a gold dude? I don't get it.

Got to laugh, "angry internet person". NO a paying member who's fed up with non paying new recruits screwing up games.

At a minnimum 50% of the new recruits are either deadbeats or cheats.

The multi hunters do a good job but its after the fact. The games are already screwed. All is not well when you turn over the cheaters regions and troops to a teamate who may or may not of been involved.

Game #6624157 after catching the cheat , his partner got a north america and south america . Its called game/set/match.

Something MORE has to be done.

An option to exclude( non paying) new recruits from games or at a minimum a 24 hour hold before they can join.

I think there should be a game option put into place where you can decide what ranks can join a game you make. Personally I don't care about New Recruits, atleast for the reasons stated above. But I hate getting into games where it's 3 low ranks (not necessarily new recruits) and me, as they gang up to take me out early. Very frustrating, and depletes your score rather quickly.

Some sort of option when making a game would be nice, something you could set so only players between X rank and yours can join. Eventually, would lead to some very good games, and would get rid of the need to password games and wait for certain ranks to reply to you about joining it. Of course, the default setting would be no restriction, so you can still make public games that anyone can join.

But assuming that idea never makes it off the ground, Join a clan and stop playing public games. Clan games will usually get players ranked close to you.

yeah i agree. shoe on the other foot, i generally like to play lower ranked players and look for games that are mostly full but with lower ranks. would be good to have that option.
Back on topic, i also avoid new recruits cos when i first started (few weeks ago) all the games i played had new recruits and most never come back. Would be a pain having to wait 24 hours but it will stop the people that weren't gonna come back from joining games.

Guys, take this to the suggestions forum. Back on topic:

You get the rank according to your points. The lowest is "cook", when you win a few games you get to be a "private" and then "private 1st class" and so on.

You don't get to be a "gold dude" though. Gold icons are for premium players, you can buy premium for 25 USD a year. It gives you the possibility to play as many games at a time as you want.

Is it auto-renewing, or do I choose to repurchase yearly?
