I am officially done with this site. Thank you all.
Hello all.
Thanks to all of you for the many games you have helped me enjoy over the last couple years. However, I am officially done with this site. I just lost a 12-1 attack with out taking the territory. The chances of this happening are 1 in 354294. Statically, this should never happen. And yet, I have personally seen in both for and against me multiple times.
While I accept that this site uses a random number generator, I believe there is a flaw with the number generator. I believe that the program has an error and as such, is not actually random.
Additionally, I have noticed that once a player seems to be "beat", their dice get even worse accelerating their demise. This occurs frequently towards the end of games. At first I thought it was some sort of "mercy" rule, but apparently there is no such thing.
I am convinced, that while it is probably not intentional, the dice on this site are NOT actually random. So thank you all for the games, and good bye.

I bet far more dice than that are rolled daily so "statistically" that should happen somewhat often.

Wtf are you doing? If a person is too (whatever the politically correct term for "retarded" is nowdays) to comprehend what it means for something to be random, why would I/you/other people want him/her on this site?
You're right! The dice are BS! If something was random, it would never be that bad. If enough of us leave the site because the dice aren't random maybe they'll make them random. It's an outrage; it's almost impossible to play if the dice are only ever good to the people that suck. It's so unfair that people like us with good strategy have to take this type of bullcrap. Let's teach the admin a lesson and leave!

As you say statistically it should happen 1 in 354294, maybe you were that one?

I will stop you right there.
There are roughly 15,000 people who play here every day. Each of them takes more than one turn. If they average 10 turns a day (probably a bit low), then that is 150,000 rolls. You have over 354294 rolls, then in less than 3 days.
I would hardly call something that is going to average once every 3 days "never".

technically true, but it is far more random than hand-thrown dice.

Its called overwhelming odds. Remember, you are not rolling only 1 die each. The loser gets down to fewer dice per roll. No magic, there... sorry.

Well, good bye....
If it were possible, I say I would be happy to have your premium, but instead... bye.

It's worth than just bad dice. You have numerous secret alliances not just player and player but player and dipshits controlling the site.

I think what he is trying to say is that something that happens once every 354,294 times should not happen to an individual play MULTIPLE times. I mean, this situation doesn't come up for every player over a million times, does it? If it is actually true that he lost the 12v1 several times in his career, I believe that he is justified in questioning the randomness of the dice. I, too, question the randomness of the dice, but you don't see me storming off in a huff every time I get inexplicably horrible dice. I just move on to the next game. Since everyone else has to deal with it, it is, at the very least, fair.

and another one down, another one down, another one bites the dust. sorry to say the dice got to ya
Re: I am officially done with this site. Thank you all.
What a baby, seriously like that dude said, there are over 15,000 players on CC or whatever, of course you are gonna have some bad dice some times, and some golden dice some times, nothing to cry about, if you want attention then feel free to post, but don't cry about the dice man, that's how the game is played. Get over it

What the hell are you talking about statistically this should never happen. You just posted the odds right there. We've had millions of games on this site with lots of dice rolls in each game. I attack 1's many times a game. This happens to everyone once in a while. I had a partner loose 13v1, doesn't happen every game, just one time.

Game 6571844
Wow-My game was the demise.
I agree the dice are ridiculous lately. I have heard of some multiplier. The dice seem to go really good or really bad much more lately, but it is life. I hate it is bad to me and I love it when it is good to me.

Re: I am officially done with this site. Thank you all.
The thing about randomness is that when there is an outlying result, we remember that outlier with more clarity than we remember non-outlier results. This of course occurs in non-random situations; it is easy to remember, say, the top three home run hitters in baseball but not the middle three.
There are no doubt many times when the dice were quite in your favor, but since you likely attack when you have more armies than your opponent, you "expect" this result so it does not stick in your memory.
It is also worth noting that, if the dice are truly programmed to behave in the manner you speculate, then you are the beneficiary of this programming when you are defending during another player's turn so things are still fair and equal. The only way the dice can be "unfair" is if the site uses a different dice rolling algorithm specifically for your account.

The problem is this... good players don't look at this game as a random act of god on who wins... They (i didnt say we :S) look at a game of numbers. For example, they calculate they need X amount of troops in location 2. So they build a strategy around this. What happens when they build their whole game around a sound stratagem and all of a suddden the dice produce a 5% chance result on the crucial hit? It doesnt matter at this time whether the other guy is getting the same dice or not. The good player now has shot his wad based upon what should happen and lost... This is called strategy. Im saying If you cannot predict what will happen with dice with accurate estimates of whether its right or not... what point is it to even deploy and play.. you might as well start a game and just attac everything around you. No strategy and let the dice win or lose for you.

Lately I see a ton of players playing the 3v2 attacks and winning--the risk seems to be worth it from what I see

Yeah I lost a 1vs1 two days ago with a cat that was attacking 3vs3s and beating me... I dunno. I studied stats and biometry, but im no expert. But Im pretty sure if someone did a running tally of what their rolls were on excel, and stuck it into SAS software, there would be some eyebrows raised.

We are talking about a game of dice here. You can play the odds, but you will never eliminate the luck factor completely.
If people get an 80% shot (to break a bonus, kill another player, sweep the board), they tend to expect, that they will succeed. If they do, they simply take it as the logical & expected outcome. If they fail, they are getting pissed off & start bitching about the dice. Understandable, yet with an 80% shot they actually have to expect to fail every 5th time they try. Even in your example of 95%, what "should happen" is you losing it every 20th time.
Sound strategy & playing the odds will pay off in the long run, but it will not guarantee a win in a specific game/scenario.
