March 9 game bugs

UPDATE: All Premium Members are getting a 1 day extension to their Premium Membership due to this mishap!

Unfortunately something went wrong during maintenance work this morning at about 8:45am. I was working on making the way games store map info more efficient. Playing became impossible because the maps were not loading properly.

I have deleted and reversed the points in 47 games that were completely destroyed. If you cannot continue your game or your game was forced to end abruptly please submit a support ticket via the Help page. Otherwise, we must ask you to please continue your games even if one or a few turns were affected.

Please accept my sincere apology for this mishap and the inconvenience or unfairness it has caused with your games. I will look investigate the cause and do what I can to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Is this problem only from the morning (during maintenance), or is it currently on-going? Because the server has been timing out on me right now and otherwise being much slower than usual.

I only had one mishap personally...

Game 6559571 I should of received 3 troops for holding Africa and I didn't. I only got 4 for 12 regions. Help!

Thanks for fixing the problem!!! What sucks for me was that I was in the middle of a turn when things went loopy and I got a "illegal turn" notice and kicked out of my game. I was marching big time and got left out in the cold.
No biggie... Sh1t happens and life goes on!!!
