I'm coding a RISK variant and wanted to check out the competition. Now I wished I hadn't because:

1. CC is so addictive I don't have time to code my own game any more. (see, I don't even have time to get an avatar)

2. CC makes my game suck big time in comparison!

A buddy invited my brother, who told me about it, and being a big Risk fan, I joined, and liked it a lot. So, here I am.

I searched a few years back for risk and ended up playing w@w for a few months but damn it sucked really bad and I gave up my 3 accounts lol. then last year after playing live a few times I did a search again and this gem of a site turned up .

I think I paid premium after bout a week and never looked back :D

p.s. feel free to check I never had more than one account here lol but as for w@w how could they ever charge for that

pps. funny thing is i checked into w@w a few months back and my accounts are still active

A friend introduced me to it.
Of course, I've got more games under my belt than he does now...

And, there's the fact that I love risk, and no one ever plays with me anymore...:(

I believe trevor was the one to mention it there.

I picked I couldn't get enough of risk at home, because I was sick one day and I really wanted to play risk but couldnt leave the house because I was sick so I rounded up a friend online and we started a game here that we played realtime. I won. it was my first game.

Red Hot Pawn? Classic geeky chess jokes, love it.

I never play Risk usually, it drives me mad. But here you can take the games at a very slow pace so it's cool. I only joined at all becuase a friend from another forum (i.e. an internet friend not a real one) pasted the link and told us all to come. Teredona, that's you!

Well, I'm here because a group of us in my Networking class last term had nothing to do during our lab time. So one of us found this site, got the rest of us on it, and we haven't done any labs ever since. <.<

I joined because my brother and I had gotten bored with playing scrabble and chess against each other online and we needed a new game. We separately went looking for a site where we could play Risk (a subject of many childhood battles) and found CC. It rocks, and I'm totally hooked. This past weekend, my wife gave me all kinds of shit for getting out of bed and turning on the computer just long enough to check on my games before we went off to church!
