Our Elite 8 matchup is going to be interesting. I look to have a possible 4-3 advantage in the games, but he SPANKED me in the double-star game. I've been launching up desperation 3's in all the games I can to try to take as many neutrals as possible... let's hope it's enough. Can't wait to see the final score of this one.

I think I won my Final Four macthup, 4 maps to 3 including the double star game.

Despite losing 4 of the 7 maps, the Panthers picked up the 69-63 win by fighting hard in their losses, including a 13-round battle between star point guards. In the end, Pittsburgh won their maps in an average 7.7 rounds, while Houston needed 8.8 rounds per map. That slight edge in shooting percentage gave coach themuss11 just enough points to advance.

Well if you take out my extra win, then my wins would have been an average of 7.3 rounds. So I beat him with our 3 to 3 on speed of winning and won the most important game. Are you saying that the PG win lost me the game? If I would have let him win in 13 rounds, I would have won the game? Or maybe the way you explained that was just bad. I guess he killed more neutrals then me and got more bonuses.

Yes, sportsgod...it was the latter. His wins just included more of the bonuses that got him enough extra shots to sneak past you.

The star play was basically neutralized in this matchup because that map was such an even battle and the start player for each of you, so both got up quite a few shots. You ended up with only a four-point edge on the star point-guard spot.

I expected the Final Four matchups to be tight, and yours is proving me right so far. Good tourney though sportsgod.

Thanks Johnny. Well Cyclone Alley is packed with the fans for the Championship game. My big men have played well so far in the Championship game. My star player had the flu last night and is struggling to put up any kind of numbers.
