Perception of Top 10 Clans [Annually + Longevity]

and this is why i asked Chuck not to publish results...

ive made decision based on many criteria. history being only one of them. my belief in strength of clans based on their current roster is another(there were 3 more). and why wouldnt we look at history?! or why would be looking only at how good/bad players are?!

TOFU sure as hell have great players, no one denies it. but what is your clan war result against THOTA? ummm, sry, against TSM? sry again, i meant against IA! well, shoot, i was thinking against EMPIRE! well, you have beaten LoW, im sure of it! ok then, KoTR, thats my last choice...

so, how is it TOFU established top 3 clan then?! or to sum up with your tennis analogy. is Murray better then Nadal? right now, everyone will fancy Murrays chances. but Murray still didnt won GS, still is unproven although with great potential and Nadal is just a shade of his former greatness. but who knows what will happen and who knows will Murray ever shine on a big stage...

I think O&H are good, in top-7 for sure. Don't think they are higher than 5, actually. (was thinking about their challenges and the games vs our team in CLA and TLO II tournament).

But they are way above average.

O&H is very good, no way they are top 7 though. Imo the top 7 are set, they are a notch above. Thota, tsm, tofu, IA, low,empire, and kort, a bit above others. If one of these were to play a clan that is #10-15, it would be a 38-22 or 40-20 blowout imo.

Nemesis is very good, and just outside of this group, they are crushing BSS right now, who aren't that bad themselves. O&H belongs in the category with BPB, AOD, BSS, etc. These in my opinion are the next group down in skill level. Many of these don't have enough top players to compete with the big 7.

It could be the big 8, I still can't figure out where ID should be. Anyway, that is my opinion. I agree about both clans moving up, it's unfortunate that nemesis has to play thota in round two of cup if they get there. It's too soon, they aren't ready yet. Very close, but they need to ripen just a bit imo.

I don't personally think O&H top 5 so don't get me wrong but......

We can't compete with LOW?? We just battered them over 40 games mate!
Maybe's you getting old and living in the past. Not saying we'll win vs LOW in CC, but can't compete?

That is just so ridiculous so when did winning by a good margin become non-competitive?

Well we've certainly got our hands full with these bloody robots right now, but George I love your articles, you really need to check your facts though.

That's fair criticism nipper. And I could be wrong. At the same time though I still have to rank LOW above you guys, just like I rank you guys above the two clans that you have lost to. Again, my opinion and again I could be wrong.

yes, I think you should give up the quest to get a ladder. I, personally, cannot reconcile with the fact that Kort is ranked 16th. It is clearer than ever that we lack, and will continue to lack, the data to create a sane ladder. It's probably a waste of everyone's time.

That ladder is clan WARS only, that is why KORT is ranked so low. If they want a higher ranking, they are going to actually have a few wars.

It's not about the strength of the clan - it's about clan's war performance. You can have excellent players but if you've never competed with top clans - you will be seeded last in rating. Although everyone can respect you and name #1.
