I assume me and JR moves on to round 2 here.

Unless ron manages to win on his own. In that case I think it would be reasonable to let him find a replacement partner. At the end of the day it's not his fault....

Of course ron should get booted with his team mate - ron gets an advantage from this and is likely to pull off two wins (one win is sure). His partner got booted early in the game - on US civil war map and Siege he benefitted getting territory bonus and round bonus like crazy. Only map we has been able to beat him back so far is Duck&Cover due to the map's small size. I'd be happy to take on any team here if I could start with two people's territories on US Civil war and Siege, easy wins. Jesus. It's not his fault, but he cannot possibly be allowed to cruise round one and then team up with someone else.

youre a fool. then lets set up round 1 with a fresh partner...
sorry lx isnt as quick to boot someone from a tourney as jr is.

Please ron, do NOT start calling people names, that will not help anybody.
I have not made a decision yet, I'm getting second and third opinions.
2010-01-17 22:48:13 - alstergren: ron what the f*ck? 2010-01-18 03:50:53 - JOHNNYROCKET24: i had a feeling 2010-01-18 11:31:56 - ronc8649: i didnt know about all that guys... 2010-01-19 05:14:59 - alstergren: happy for you that you take advantage of it though, must feel good
this kind of pissed me off lx.
that doesnt make me feel good in the slightest. if someone wants to say something shitty, then they should expect for me to call them a fool.

IMO you'd have to take some responsibility for who you team up with. Too bad, but if you're partner is booted, not anyone else's problem. We can't keep playing round 1's with you and various different partners. And going to round 2 due to 2 WO victories seem strange.

I have come to a decision with regards to the first round games during which one team member was busted and thus kicked from the games. It was not an easy decision, however I tried to take every possible aspect of this issue into account and here it is:
The 3 games that are now ongoing will be forfeited. In other words, the opponent's team will get those as a win.
The most fair and honorable solution for the tournament I feel would be to replay the first round with a new partner for the remaining player of the team in question. I will not force this upon the players involved though, it's my suggestion and if all involved agree, that's what we do. If not, the opponent's team will go on the second round.

EDITED: The first round games will not be replayed.
