Re: Risk: A tournament based on the board game
well you need a starting tert but I'll assign an open one this morning. let me know if you want to change it. You're also going to need to allow PMs so you can get your game noticesbltobandit wrote:yes i'm interested in the game please if there is anything else i have to do other than post this message let me know thanks

The 2nd alaska slot filled just above you so I've moved you over to NW tert and thanks for catching the missing map, I'll fix that later today

Re: Risk: A tournament based on the board game
Oh sorry, usually when someone requests a tert that isn't available I try to put them on a bordering one however that one doesn't use XGW so I've moved you to Middle East which does use XGW. The other option (outside of Asia) that uses XGW that I could move you to is South Africa if you'd prefer. (assuming you request it before someone claims it.

Angus already joined on China. As for ACW the only region that uses that map is Eastern US and that's full, I'll slot you into Northwest Tert which is the closest available to NW tert at this point but let me know if you'd like one of the other available terts

Re: Risk: A tournament based on the board game
So I've been thinking about this here. Everyone here is interested in playing Risk of course but the way we're currently set up, half of the players won't get to, we've got that Round 1 battle to earn the tert with the winners moving on and the losers not, well that really sucks for the losers. I think what we'll do is set up a second tournament at that point so that everyone continues but we'll be separated into a winners side and a losers side. Of course players could still be eliminated early but they'll have their shots to play.
