add more ranks and raise point requirements for existing

many people say its getting easier and easier to move up the ranks due to point inflation... more users, more points, and if somebody stops playing, the points they lost add to the pot...

so, instead of my idea of the "point-tax" in which everybody loses 1% of there points every month

we should just increase the point requirements for our existing ranks... and add new ones!!!! it would be exiting to see a little bit of change around with our rank system...

just maybe increase all point requirements to, lets say, 140%, (x1.4) and bam, inflation gone, and everybody gets the rank they deserve...

lets face it, it can get too easy to get higher ranks these days... one 8 player game can raise your rank by one, maybe even two depending on the ranks of the opponents...

Try to get 3000 points and then we can see how easy it is to get to high rank. Everyone knows (at least it is said) that average good player will never drop below 2000 points.

I think you fail at math. x1.4 is a 40% increase. 140% is x2.4.

There are 80 pages of players on the scoreboard.

There are 80 players 3000 or over.

I wouldnt say its that easy. I certainly wouldnt say there are too many over 3000.

if you havent noticed, i don't play many games... i dont even use my 4 freemie limit i have no interest in ranks at all, as long as i get to play a game of risk when the interest strikes me.

but hey, if you guys like your rankings that much, doesnt really concern me... just seemed like a reasonable suggestion
