It has some potential with Adenine, Cytosine, Guanine, and Thymine, something around those for the bonuses... Plus I'm sure we could come up with some other ones as well...

DNA
This idea is an off branch of what Jim suggested with an atom. But how about a map of DNA?

Re: DNA
I think DNA is a great idea.
It would be a unique map. Good Job.
Re: DNA
ok, so are you thinking a random strand of DNA and each molecule is a bonus? maybe something else for holding a whole codon (three peices of DNA, the code for a specific amino acid in a protein)? and then bonuses along the backbone, or are those just gonna be routes to other molecules?
Re: DNA
Gosh... This is old... But I still think the idea is legit!
Ustus, there could be alot of different variations I'm thinking concerning the bonuses. Perhaps your bonus magnifies if you hold more strands or something like that. Treat it like 3-piece capitals like in the USA maps where the more strands your hold, the bonus increases greater.
Now the question is how big of a map should it be... I'm open to suggestions. This map has a lot of flexibility because it could be as big or as small as you wanted it. I'm personally thinking medium sized...

Re: DNA
I tried to make a map of a protein a while back, but it seems CC doesn't want maps of molecules...

Re: DNA
Hmm... Yeah, that is kinda the same thing, but at the same time it isn't. Because I think this DNA map has a lot of potential for some interesting bonus combinations. They are just both of the micro level of science.

Well go ahead, just don't say I didn't warn you.

Re: DNA
well I, for one, strongly support this. It's educational and interesting, plus DNA does offer you some interesting and subject-specific ways to do bonuses and connections. It has some natural borders and connections, and is something that is relevant to everyone's lives - even if most people never need to know anything about it, they still have it. It also has some natural choke-points. I love choke-points. If you need anything to move this along, the idea sounds really interesting, so I'd love to help however I can. Even if I may never get around to playing the map more than once or twice since I only get 4 games (if I had the money I'd probably have gone premium by now, but I'm too cheap
)

Yes. I believe that was brought up in the original thread
