Fight Club was released in 1999, and the novel in 1996.

Check your facts, Jack.

SOME SPOILERS AHEAD, BUT MINOR ONES IMO.

It was a decent sci-fi movie, so if you're into that you'll probably like it. Maybe see it 3-D if it doesn't give you headaches (like me). The lengths they went to tie it in to the real world made me wince (I lol'd when the Patton + macho bullshit - genius dude talked about fighting "terror with terror"), but aside from that it was OK.

My biggest issue was the second half of the movie tbh. I thought that the main character was more interesting when he actually had conflicting interests, but by the end he actually started referring to his own race as aliens in his video monologues. There's no middle ground, just white hats and black hats. That's too simplistic for my taste. But hey, if you're not there for the story the climactic fight scene at the end was well put together, and if you're the sort of guy who bought a PS3 at launch you owe it to yourself to see this.

I can think of 4 great movies released in the 21st century- American history X, Kill Bill volume 1, Inglorious Basterds and Fight Club.

Have you seen Green Street Hooligans? I think you would like it based on the above list.
