I'd like to mention that you're a retard. Slave labour was inneficient and the slaves often sabotaged their own work, producing unreliable equipment for German soldiers which probably hurt the cause more than it helped (there are tons of stories about Allied soldiers being shelled by dud bombs).

Some of you are thinking, "Well duh." but seriously I'm watching some National Geographic shows on them. They built wicked equipment but pretty much everything else about them makes me angry, I even have German blood in me.

The actuall footage is comical, horrifying, sad and facinating all at the same time. Shows how powerfull racism as a force is. Some of the people were likely just sucked in. I'm sure most of them started out with "I don't hate [insert nationality here] but it's them or me." disgusting.

The thing that makes me concerned also is that in Berlin they have erased the Nazi presence. I agree let's get rid of some of it because it's nice to rebuild and move on but I believe that some horrible things left as a reminder are a good idea. Taking it away just lends credance to the likes of "Holocaust deniers." Their whole, "How could they have got away with killing that many people, get real." line would be easier to defeat if you could force them to go to some of the absolute mega structures the nazis had built and ask, "Well, how did they build this using slave labour moran?"

The Nazi's were a bad generation to start with. Their parents didn't teach them shit, and pretty soon the government became mommy and daddy. Only through economic and governmental destability from hyper-inflation could such a world failure appear again. The German mind was ripe for a hi-jacking after the WWI defeat, coupled with the inability to find work, and even if you did, you got paid with money that was worth less everyday.
Wouldn't take too long before a politcian came to the front, pormising to fix everything through growing the government. And it worked.....for a brief period. At the time, German citizens finally had something to be proud of. Germany was becoming the envy of the world, being the first to come out of the great depression. But....of course....the government kept growing, and then took over, and then, the rest is history. (given Germany never would have been the Germany it was if the government didnt force everyone to work in the weapons plants and such...)

actually they just trained them, they didin't do it for very long cause, A) they weren't verry effective, B) the germans shot every dog in east europe as a result C) the dogs were trained on Russian tanks and as a result would often jump under friendly tanks.

Dresden Germany, February 1945, in one night tens or hundreds of thousands of civilians died from firebomb attack. The army barracks were untouched. The oil tanks were untouched (were property of Shell, would go back to British after the war). In previous months Dresden was ignored by bombers, which may have been intentional to convince homeless people to flee to there, so one big killing could hurt german moral. The war was basically won by then so why the bombing?

Lehi was a jewish terrorist group that among other things tried to work with Nazi's against the British (hoping to take over Isreal and have jews sent there, historical document exists to prove), and killed british rulers, various terrorist attacks and at least one massacre to scare non jews out of isreal (according to a jewish historian). They all got amnesty for any crime, and are war heros in isreal complete with a ribbon/award to every member. Several served as political leaders later.

The intentional firebombing of cities (not just Dresden) was pulled during the latter parts of the war as Churchill and others found it questionable. Obviously they had been doing it for a while and the actions are questionable, but the allies war crimes no way match up to those of the USSR or Axis.
