I think there is something wrong with this game. there is no way these teams will come out close to 20 points. I know that points have changed sense you sent the games out.
Game 6142974

I would double check the PM but i already deleted it.

I wouldn't complain about this, but i don't want [player]Scottyboymck[/player] to lose this chance for winning by a simple mistake of joining wrong teams.

You are correct something wrong in that game and I didn't notice it
Actually [player]babagonosh[/player] should have been in team1 while [player]Scottyboymck[/player] should have been in team2 :geek:
I also found what went wrong and it turned out to be my mistake  sorry O:)

I will remake this last game in the coming days with correct team invitations :P

The good thing for me is that at least one person noticed the 20 points approach

but that game is already into round 6 and team 2 is clearly positioned to win it. so to correct one mistake you create another.

creating a new game in the name of fairness creates an unfair situation to the team currently in the lead.

if a new game is to be created then the players winning the current game should receive no less points then what they would gotten once the current game is finished. ....just to be fair

I wouldn't bother with it, but green in that current game has a chance to win the tourny, and i would hate to have him lose that opportunity because of a simple typo

Whilst I appreciate the fact that there was a mistake made my team has lost this game due to me missing 3 turns (christmas holidays) so despite the points error I dont think that it warrants a rematch with the correct teams.

Thanks for looking into that Sniper but at the end of the day you dont play the rank you play the player and if we had all out players on full capability (eg me not missing lol) then we would have had a good chance to win anyway.

Great tournament again PaulusH - another runner up slot for me by the looks!

First of all: sorry that I hadn't the time to remake the specific game earlier
Furthermore looking to all current arguments, I skipped the idea of remaking that game :o

To summarize I have seen three arguments:
    1. Teams in the specific Game 6142974 are not of best comparable cc-strength
    2. The game is already running for some time
    3. Only one player in that game could still win the tournament and specific that player missed several turns

I checked the first argument and that is correct and turned out to be my mistake. Based on that I had the idea of a remake.

The second argument was made by [player]MasterGuns[/player] who came up with the idea in Trippel Trappel that I would make team-strength at each game more comparable. Based on that I assume that he (or she) noticed the unbalanced team-strength at the start of the game and therefore I ignore this argument.

The third argument was made by [player]Scottyboymck[/player], who is one of the players still in the race to win the tournament. I also checked this argument and he (or she) missed several turns. Normally missing turns in a team-game is doing your team no good. Therefore I assume that [player]Scottyboymck[/player] and his (or her) team would have been in a bad position independed of how I would have made the teams.
Based on this argument I cancelled the remake.

[player]Scottyboymck[/player] and his (orher) team can still win Game 6142974, although they must have lucky dice for it or a very good strategy (most likely they need both).

If there are still new arguments, just let me know. As long as the tournament is running I might reconsider.

Yes, the format was the best I've seen yet. I'd definitely play in another just like it. Congrats cletus on 2nd place, it's a shame Scotty missed those turns, the end might have been much more interesting :D
