Hello, welcome to the new students. Just to congratulate people who is making this work.

My first recommendation for new players is to join games with few players and if it is possible escalating (are faster) for your first 5 games....
If you want to tell something to somebody press on his/her PM button to send a message.

It's my understanding that this is the place to sign up for help. If not, please direct me.

I sure could use a lot of help! My beginning seems to be ok, because in about half my games I ended up with what I thought was a strong position by midgame - and then got promptly crushed. Endgame strategies, well any strategy would be appreciated!

Hi, I'm cheezeman, but please just call me cheeze. I've played about 14 games after starting 3 or 4 days ago with some guys from work. It appears however, even though the game is great fun, that I really suck at it. I was told to stop by the forums if I wanted to get better. So without further ado I'd like to become a student of the Society. Happy New Year!
