In another thread I made a comment about how Obama's course of action thus far can be described as socialist. I supported it with examples, so naturally everyone tried to divert attention to something else I said about how my views are largely centrist. It's time to get the conversation back on track.
I'll make a thread about centrism too in time, but for now let's take a look at Obama's Socialist policies.

Do you think, in some way way, that a sort of socialist-democracy or a communist-capitalism can not only exist, but be relatively perfect in structure?
That's another debate.I would much rather have an open and honest debate about a thing than to have politicians lie about the nature of their policies so they can subversively slip them in.
For the record, yes there is merit to some of the theories of Socialism, but I would rather see my country stay true to it's Libertarian origins. I think it's good that there's a nation where people can go to pursue their ambitions unimpeded (or at least minimally impeded) by government bureaucracy. America has stood out as a beacon to the free world for this very reason.

Would you care to define exactly what you mean by Socialist, even the most conservative politician will sometimes advocate or implement policies purely for the social good.
I'm sorry but I'm having trouble understanding exactly what you mean by "crook." Are you comparing him to an implement that has a bent or hooked form? Like a pothook, shephard's staff, or crosier? Or are you suggesting he's part of something that is hook-shaped, curved, or bent--like the crook of an umbrella handle? Or perhaps you mean he's a bend or a curve! Ah! A metaphor, how clever of you! So, you're saying that Obama isn't a direct or a strong leader, just a bending curved figure who doesn't have what it takes--a weak crooked backbone I presume! But surely you can't be likening him to that of a person who engages in fraudulent or criminal practices! Surely, if he has been suspected of such a thing, wouldn't there be some official investigation going on? There's a few more suspicious and perhaps almost as equally powerful members of society who should be properly investigated that also come to mind, for they surely are much more suspicious than Obama.

Outlaw = An outcast/loner kid who never had any decent friends growin up, yet understands more about life than anyone else. Croney = Shorthand for Kronenbourg beer Nixion = Nixon = political figurehead that all of America blames their problems on, acting as if he had any real power and was deliberately making horrible decisions. I disagree. About 95% of all politician that have been accused of doing something illegal were innocent.
