Deferred Troop Deployment [ANSWERED]

Hey all,

I have a question about deferred troop deployment. I was under the impression that the order is:

1. Deploy troops normally allotted for that round
2. Attack
3. Fortify
4. Deploy deferred troops.

I thought this order was universal, regardless of map or round.

However, in my game: Game 6119417 the red player was able to double deploy. Is this due to the map or because he missed his first turn, or what?

You got it right, was a 2nd deploy of deferred armies for miss. This happens during the fotication stage.

Right, but as you can see, he was able to deploy his round 2 troops and his round 1 troops before commencing with attack.

My question is... is this due to the map we are playing on, or the fact that he missed round 1?

Oh nevermind, I misinterpreted the game log!

It seems he had lucky rolls which allowed him to successfully attack and deploy.
