Westeros Map?

Post by Silens_Diabolus »

If anyone is familiar with the "A Song Of Ice and Fire" series and up to the task, I'd like to see the land of Westeros made into a map. I think it'd be pretty interesting, the Eyrie could be an "Australia" for example. I believe it's got a lot of potential. What do you guys think? I put a poll up as well.

No idea what you're talking about, but a) these threads belong to the map ideas forum and b) this sounds like something copyrighted...

I believe there was an attempt at this. Check out the recycling bin. I feel like Keyogi may have taken a stab at it.

Well we could scale it down, I mean we have maps of the whole world, this is really doable I believe.

Westeros would be great for a map. Are you proposing to undertake this project yourself?

I would if i had the resources and knowledge. If anyone wants to instruct and tutor me in the ways of mapmaking, I would gladly make an attempt.

Because of the long and thin shape, maybe two maps would be good, an upper and lower Westeros? Possibly split it at the neck?

Looks like most of the developmental images have been taken off the web from Keyogi's product, but did find one still working.

If anyone is interested in the project, might be worthwhile trying to contact Keyogi or spockers...I think they worked on it together if I remember?
