Leavers?
I just want to kill them IRL and after the game I just finished all I want to do is flame. They cost you games sometimes, because they make it easier for another player to take over a major territory and screw you over in the end.
Situation: You are in a game with 3-4 players (Player A [me],B,C,D). Your starting position (where bulk of my troops are placed at start) favours you to take over a small region with few entry points, thus giving you a small but nevertheless advantageous supply of soldiers. Meanwhile in a land too distant away from my starting position where I and Player B occupy a maximum of 1 city/square, and Player C and D have their starting positions scattered around a potentially big territory that yields the highest (or simply very high) bonus. Now, of those 2 players (C and D) that control the region, player D decided to become inactive and missed turn 1 then seeing this player C uses this to advantage and takes out player A and player B in those areas (so now I can't keep him in check at that region). Player D then misses turn again, and now Player C is just taking over that area bit by bit, eventually expanding into further territories with huge bonuses and pushing everyone out. While I am also dominanting the other end of the map...until we converge and he just demolishes me since he had higher initial influx of soldiers and took over more as a result.
Question: How can I create pressure in distant territories to fill the gap that the leaver created in order to delay the progress of my opponent in domination of a continent of which I won't have control in the beginning? How can I do this without spreading out my forces too much?

If you truly want to kill someone in real life over a silly game, then you need serious mental health treatment. Find a counselor.

Make a truce with player B, the player who is over there so could put pressure, and who is still playing. If you layed off him in your area, he might have a chance to help equalize the gameboard.

This is funny why?

Making secret alliances in the game is prohibited, and is bannable. What else?
Please stick to the topic.

If you refer to my comment, a truce is not a secret alliance; a truce is done in game chat for all to see... and the idea IS on topic.

Re: Leavers?
The last time I ran into a leaver, it was too late...I was already leaved before I could even ask him to stop.
Re: Leavers?
I met a lot of leavers when I first started dating.

I repeat:
Make a truce with player B, the player who is over there so could put pressure, and who is still playing. If you layed off him in your area, he might have a chance to help equalize the gameboard.

Re: Leavers?
I repeat:
Don't play 4 man games.
