ALARICUS: meaning "all-powerful; ruler of all." Latin name composed of the Germanic elements ala "all" and ric "power; rule," hence "all-powerful; ruler of all."
I do construction, excavating, and at one point due to me being somewhat animalistic in my approach to my work one of my buddies nicknamed me "Neanderpaul", as my name is Paul. I kind of liked it so I started using it on web-site , however I went to join a site and it already had a neanderpaul, the nerve of him, so I added the 14. Afterwards I continued using the whole thing so I wouldn't get confused from site to site.

Thumbs up. I dig the name. That was horrible. I apologize.

obliteration = annihilation, abolition, extermination, eradication X = the entire above, but in a controlled manner. I'll re-iterate a cliché -- "X marks the spot".
I came up with my user name when i was like 10 or 11 so cut me some slack. Me and my brother would always save data for video games as our names Luke and Jack and get in fights over who could play etc. Thus the LJ for our initials, we then added EX because it sounded cool, and 24 because 2 was his favorite number and 4 was mine (2 was first because L for my name was first). Eventually however i just started making all my user names ljex (dropping the 24) for things like email, CC, and any other online accounts thus defeating the purpose of LJEX to begin with and now despite me being 19 and my brother being 15 we again fight over who can play saved game/online accounts for video games.
Nickname was Bert growing up, some friends in the 4th grade (1996) started calling me Bertimus, which later the same day led to Bertimus Maximus (not sure why, not roman or anything). Maximus became my game name for any game, add the hyphens and a capital M, there you go. Worked great for nintendo games especially madden, many other online games, might as well keep it goin.
If you wrong me I will hunt you down and destroy you.
ljex wrote:P.S. Im also know as The Samurai but that is a story for another day.
That's funny; I, too, on occasion, have been referred to as The Samurai. However, since the reason I am called that is because I was a sword-wielding member of the military nobility of pre-industrial Japan, I find it highly likely that the reason you are called The Samurai is a different one from mine. Please, enlighten us.

Well of course. That's what brothers are FOR, isn't it? <grin>
