The diagonals are the best.

I am serious about this thing. Those patterns can be irritating for some people! I feel dizzy looking at it for a long time. :( I don't want such a trivial thing to ruin my enjoyment of this map that's all. Ah well...maybe a poll is the best solution...

Haha, I don't think polls can be the solution to everything.

Perhaps you can play with the number of lines, perhaps make them even finer. But still, some of the cloud versions look alright also.

no use the lines. All the other waters in every other map is like the cloud version.

I've added 6 more Sea Backgrounds (No Stripes).
Here is a link to the flash file so you can slideshow scroll through them all. My favorite now is #5, even more than the original slanted stripes.

From the new ones 3,4,5 and 6 are fine for me. Anyone of those is good. If I had to pick one though...I'd say 3.
